Chapter 359
As Anna spoke, her gaze fell upon Sunshine, who was in the distance.
“I don’t know if you understand how I felt, Esther. It’s like falling in love with them the moment you
meet, for no reason at all.”
Esther allowed Anna to speak without interruption as Anna recounted her past experiences.
“I really like Sunshine and Twinkle. I often visited the church school because I later found out that
Sunshine had a congenital heart condition. Fortunately, they found a suitable heart for her not long ago.
Otherwise… Sunshine wouldn’t be able to live and play as she does now.”
“I understand.” Esther looked at Felix happily playing with Sunshine in the distance and smiled. “Felix
also had health issues before. It wasn’t until he had a bone marrow transplant that he could live and
play like a normal child.”
Anna and Esther sat on a bench in the orchard. Anna looked at the two innocent and adorable children
and whispered, “At this moment, I don’t have any expectations for them. All I want is for them to be

A pendulum swung back and forth inside Esther’s heart. She hesitated on whether she should. tell
Anna what she knew.
In the end, she decided to take a chance.
“Anna, my son wasn’t afraid because of the spider but because he saw someone he shouldn’t have at
the church school.”
Anna asked in shock, “Who?”
Esther then told Anna about her past experience of being kidnapped by Shane and discovering a team
involved in organ trafficking when she escaped.
“My son said he saw that man in black from before at the church school.”
Anna’s face turned pale with astonishment. She asked with disbelief, “Are you sure he saw the same
person? Do you think it’s possible he recalled a horrible memory out of fear?”
“I trust my son, Anna. I’m sure he saw the man in black in person.”
Esther took out her phone and showed Anna the web pages she had found.
“I looked up some information, and it seems the organ trafficking case disappeared entirely. Anna, I
distinctly remember mentioning the organ trade when I gave my statement. So why wasn’t it included in
the public announcement of the case?”
Anna explained, “Could it be because they couldn’t disclose it to the public due to security reasons?”
“Of course, that’s also a possibility.” Esther changed the subject, hesitating. “But Anna,
the most important question now is whether they have entered Sunshine’s life. I don’t know much about
the church school, so I need you to think carefully… Can you recall anything suspicious about the
school, like frequent cases of missing children?”
Anna casually picked a green lemon and brought it to her nose, inhaling its fragrance. She hesitated
and said, “No, there are rarely any missing children around the church. However

there are adoptions. Still, the requirements for adoption are very strict. It’s not easy to adopt a child.”
“What about after adoption?” Esther countered. “Anna, I witnessed how they conducted organ
trafficking, and I believe Felix truly saw that person. The question now is whether the church is

church isn’t truly adopting orphans but using it as a cover for their illegal activities?”
She didn’t dare to continue because the thought was too terrifying.
After listening to Esther, Anna hesitated for a moment and then made Regardless, I have decided to
adopt Sunshine and Pixie, Esther.”
“Will it be difficult?”

her mind.”
Anna shook her head. “It’s not particularly difficult, but I am getting older. In fact, it might be faster if you
adopt them instead.”
“I’ll do it then.”
Esther had met Twinkle and Sunshine before and had grown fond of the adorable twins. Perhaps it was
because of Pixie and Tinkerbell, but Esther also hoped to help keep Sunshine and Twinkle away from
danger.
“If you decide to adopt them, there will be various procedures. But what if… And I only say this as an
assumption… What if Bradley finds out you’re here?”
