Chapter 1621
Mia was waiting for Julie outside the yard.
Julie came over and asked softly, “John is probably heading to Sherry’s place. Did you tell them?”
Mia said, “I’ve told them Master Stockton is heading their way, and they will light the place up as soon as he
leaves.”
“Great.” Julie smiled. She had hired a bunch of professional hitmen for the job to ensure Sherry’s doom.
All that was left was for Queenie to leave Madam Stockton’s room so that she could go in and remove the oxygen
mask.
With Madam Stockton gone, so were all her problems.

A bucket of cold water splashed on Sherry’s face and woke her up.
The pain in her head left her dizzy. Her sight was blurry due to the water, but she managed to see a slender figure
in front of her.
She looked up, blinked her eyes, and finally got a clear look at the man. The golden-framed glasses set off the
man’s gentle and handsome features. He wore a disdainful grin on his face.
He chuckled and said, “So, you’re still alive. I thought you were dead.”
Sherry managed to regain her consciousness after hearing the harsh words. She looked around and realized she
was still in the same house.
She was lying down in front of the porch. The bodyguards surrounded her and did not actually send her to the
hospital.
She rammed her head into the wall and knocked herself out, yet the bodyguards did not send her to the hospital.
Was it because of the man’s orders?
Something stung her heart, and it worsened the pain in her head.
Her body shivered due to the cold and she looked at John with bloodshot eyes. She asked in a trembling voice, “You
hate me so much, so I figured I’d die to make it up to you.”
She looked shockingly pale under the moonlight, and the blood on her face made her look like a ghost.
John was slightly surprised but managed to recover his composure and veil it with a layer of grim. He curled his lips.
“No.”
Sherry was surprised by the answer.

She saw his moving lips as his deep voice spoke the coldest words.
“Even if you die now, I won’t forgive you. I won’t let you die either, but you can rest assured you won’t live a good
life.”
Sherry’s chest tightened. She felt like several more buckets of cold water just splashed onto her again.
John then straightened his body. He peered down at her and then said to the bodyguards, “Cut the electricity. I don’t
want to see any lights or warmth in this house.”
The bodyguards were terrified by his frosty expression. They quickly went over to the fuse box to cut the electricity.
The entire house plunged into darkness in the blink of an eye.
John curled his lips into an evil grin while he looked at Sherry.
Sherry remained petrified on the ground as if a bloody ghost was frozen. She was aware of his gaze, and for some
reason, she widened her lips into a grin.
“Haha…”
