Chapter 1389
Judging from the logo, the caps must have cost a lot.
Sylvia was certain that she had never bought the caps for them before.
The two little rascals posed like rappers in front of the phone.
“Mommy, look at me! Am I cool?” Flint acted cool and tried to steal the spotlight from his sister, but she pushed him
away mercilessly.
Isabel picked up the phone and pointed it at Liam.
Liam also wore the same cap, but it was hanging over his shoulder. His cool face warmed up when he saw his
mother through the phone.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtSylvia smiled. “Issy, Liam, where did you guys get the caps?”
“We got them from your friend!”
It was then that Flint pushed himself back into the screen and sandwiched himself in between his brother and sister.
His adorable lips protruded.
Surprised, Sylvia asked, “Mommy’s friend? Who was it?”
It was then Odell moved closer to her and glared at the little rascals.
Sylvia did not notice his sharp gaze. She was curious about who had given the kids the caps. It was unusual for
anyone to give them such expensive caps.
Isabel said, “Mommy, we got the caps from Uncle Jacob. He didn’t tell us who the friend was. He just said they were
a present for us. Your friend also gave Great- grandma and Grand -aunt presents too! They got pearl necklaces!”
Even Madam Carter and Aunt Tonya got gifts?
It was impossible for Jacob to not ask for a name and accept presents from a stranger. Therefore, the only
explanation would be that the person had told Jacob not to reveal their name.
Sylvia instantly thought of Sherry.
Odell’s gaze shifted multiple times before he returned to the side and continued reading his book.
Sylvia chatted with the kids for a while before she ended the call and texted Sherry.
“Sherry, are you back?”
The reply came back instantly.
“How did you know? Did Jacob tell you?”
As expected.
“Jacob didn’t say anything. I found out myself.”
“Babe, you’re damn smart!”

“I’m on my way to Glenchester.”
Sylvia was surprised.
Glenchester?
Sherry knew that John had been looking for her for the past two years. She would be walking right into the tiger’s
mouth if she went to Glenchester.
A quick thought later, Sylvia asked, “What are you going to do there? Are you going to see Caprice?”
“Yeah. I want to see her, and I have something to do.”
“What?”
“Some work-related stuff. Don’t worry. I won’t let that bastard find me. Nothing will happen.”
Sylvia sighed a breath of relief. “Okay. If you need anything, let me know.”
“You have fun.”
“Alright.”
