Chapter 637 Call the Police
Leticia had already known the truth. She stared at Cristina, who was still trying to keep the secret.
Cristina didn’t care much about the two children when she went to Calsis’s Residence before.
At that time, Leticia thought that Cristina was too unreliable and did not look like a mother at all. Therefore, Leticia
had a bad impression of Cristina, but the facts proved that it was a misunderstanding. After a moment of silence,
Leticia said, “Theresa just told me the whole story. You don’t have to lie to me
anymore, Cristina.”
Hearing this, Cristina was taken aback.
She turned around and looked at Theresa in confusion. “Did you tell her everything?”
She even suspected that Leticia was trying to fool her.
Theresa nodded and replied, “Yes.”
Cristina had thought that if the Calsises insisted on taking her children away, she would sue them, although she
had no wish to do that.
Cristina looked at Theresa and understood that Theresa had no choice. Then she turned to Leticia and said

the two children to Calsis’s Residence without Theresa’s permission so that Theresa and Charlie could live well,
but it never occurred to me that as soon as Charlie fully recovered, he would bully Theresa and force her to
divorce him. We’ve just taken the children back here, but you want to steal them away from us. We won’t let you
succeed.
“Cristina, enough of that.” Theresa frowned upon hearing those words.
Leticia glanced at Theresa and asked, “You divorced Charlie because he bullied you, right?”
Theresa shook her head. “No. It’s all in the past, and it has nothing to do with him. Cristina is just joking.”
“Come on! I’m not joking,” Cristina shouted. “Everyone knows that Charlie dislikes you, Theresa. Why do you keep
it a secret for him? Let me tell you something, Mrs. Calsis. Even if Charlie is rich and powerful, he would have
recovered without your help. You took good care of him, but he has an aversion to you
married a man.”
“Charlie is not that kind of person,” Leticia retorted.
She felt that Charlie cared about Theresa very much.
“What the hell happened?” Leticia wondered.

Cristina sneered. “You are his mother. Of course, you defend him and think everything your son does is right.
Theresa was so unlucky that she married Jimmy and then divorced. What was worse, she met such an
ungrateful man as Charlie. You have no right to take the two children away from us. Even if you go to court, I
don’t believe you can win. How could you have the nerve to come here?”
Now that Theresa had made things clear, Cristina wouldn’t hold back her anger anymore.
She had to tell Leticia about her thoughts.
Leticia said, “I have no idea about it. If that’s the case, Theresa, please tell me what Charlie has done. I’ll teach
him a lesson after going back.”
Theresa replied, “No, thanks. Charlie and I are no more than strangers. Since the children are now living with
me, I won’t let you take them away. I believe that Leonard and Ben won’t go with you.”
Ben and Leonard took a look at Theresa.
Ben turned to look at Leticia and said, “Grandma, I want to live with my mother. Don’t bully her.”
Ben’s voice was so soft that Leticia couldn’t help but burst into tears.

If she had known that the two children were Theresa’s sons, she wouldn’t have let the couple divorce.
Leticia felt frustrated.
When they were talking in the living room, there was a knock on the door.
Theresa said, “I’ll get it.”
The new house, which had been quiet for a few days, had a lot of visitors today.
Theresa opened the door and saw two policemen in uniforms. Stunned, she found that Sarah was standing
aside and pointing at her. “It’s her. She trafficked some children.”
Sarah knew that Leticia was softhearted. Considering the previous relationship between Theresa and Charlie,
Leticia might not be too cruel to Theresa.
Therefore, Sarah decided to call the police and put Theresa in jail for a few days to vent her hatred.
The policeman looked at Theresa, showed his identification, and said, “Someone reported that you abducted
children.”
Theresa said, “This is not true.”
