Chapter 354

Charlie used to think that if he waved to someone he liked, the other person would come right away.

After all, most of the women flattered him. He has never met a woman who ignored his feelings,

Emotional people are easy to be hurt.

Charlie suddenly regreted being too proactive.

Jonathan has been waiting at the door, looking at Charlie and saying, “Mr. Calsis, how is the young master?”

Charlie looked at Jonathan and said, “Theresa takes care of him. They don’t need me.”

Jonathan looked at Charlie in disbelief. He felt that Mr. Calsis was jealous.

Jonathan said, “The young madam is really a good woman! Although Leonard and Ben are not

her own children, she treated them even better than her own. She must do that because she loves you.”

When Charlie heard Jonathan say that she loves him, Charlie looked relaxed instantly. “Is that true?”

Jonathan, “Anyway, if I were her, I wouldn’t do that.”

Hearing that, Charlie said, “You’ve worked hard this month. I should increase your pay.”

Jonathan looked at Charlie in confusion. He wondered why Charlie suddenly increase his pay.

Is it because he just said something nice about Theresa?

Theresa has already sat down in the dining room. Robert Calsis, Leticia Calsis, Old Mr. Calsis,

and Roderick were both there. Pat and Rose were not.

Theresa sat down and saw Charlie pushed by Jonathan.

Charlie sat down next to her, and Theresa ignored him.

He offered her a glass of water.

Theresa picked up the glass, “Thank you.”

Then she looked at Charlie and found that he looked tender.

Charlie looked angry upstairs. Did he calm down so soon?

Charlie is a man with an uncertain temper.

At dinner, Mrs. Calsis and Robert were talking about Leonard. Theresa sat aside and found that Charlie sometimes

took food to her.

Looking at the man who has been courting her, Theresa asked curiously, “Are you out of your mind?”

Charlie said, “I just try to be nice. You are so mean.”

Theresa didn’t appreciate him but scolded him.

Theresa said, “I don’t need your help.”

“Are you not willing to let me help you? I rarely help someone else.”

“Ok. thank you.” Theresa looked at the man and found that he was moody. She couldn’t understand him.

Old Mr. Calsis sat by and looked at Theresa, “Sarah.”

Theresa said, “Grandpa.”

When Theresa lived in the Calsis’s residence, she went to see Old Mr. Calsis almost every day.

She hasn’t been here recently. Therefore, she hasn’t seen Old Mr. Calsis until now.

Old Mr. Calsis asked, “Have you finished your work?”

Theresa looked at Old Mr. Calsis in puzzlement. She was wondering what kind of work she had to finish.

Charlie said, “She’s almost done.”

Because Theresa was gone, Old Mr. Calsis had been looking for Theresa. Charlie lied that

Theresa had something to do in order to appease Old Mr. Calsis.

Theresa certainly didn’t know what Old Mr. Calsis meant at the moment.

Old Mr. Calsis said, “I’m glad you’re done. If you have anything to do, just ask Charlie to help you. Charlie, you

should be nice to your wife. Do you know that?”

Charlie rubbed his eyebrows and said to Old Mr. Calsis, “Am I not good enough for her? Someone needs to be

grateful.”

Theresa didn’t seem to want to be grateful.

Mrs. Calsis was talking to Robert. Now she looked at Charlie and asked, “Are you two reconciled?”

Theresa just ate watermelon. When she heard Mrs. Calsis’s words, she choked.

Charlie nodded, “Yeah.”

Mrs. Calsis said, “Charlie, I hold the same opinion as your dad do. We all hope you will stay with Theresa, no matter

how good the other girls are.”

Theresa is so kind to the two children. Mrs. Calsis felt that she would never find a more suitable woman for them.

That is why they didn’t want them to break up.

Hearing Mrs. Calsis’s words, Charlie looked at Theresa, who was quiet, and suddenly held her hand under the table.

Theresa was stunned for a moment, and instinctively struggled, but Charlie firmly grabbed her. Charlie said to Mrs.

Calsis “I think so.”
