"Without any good reason?" repeated Vicky in shock. "Don't tell me...you think I'm being unreasonable right now."

"How am I being unreasonable when I'm just asking you to keep your distance from those women?"
Tyler's face darkened, and his voice turned cold. "Vicky, I've told you a thousand times, so don't make me repeat
myself."
It never crossed Vicky's mind that the two of them would argue because of some random woman.
"Then tell me: what are you going to do from now on?"
"I should be the one asking you that."

"What if I say I want you to give up doing this necessary part of business?"

Tyler's eyes became cold and distant.
"I've done everything as a husband should do. I even cut off contact with the woman you didn't like, just as you
asked me to do. Why are you still not content?"
Vicky understood him to mean that as a man, he could keep a distance from his so-called 'female bosom friend'.
