Chapter 927
"Now can we talk?" Vicky asked.
"What do you want to know?"
Vicky found his question so ridiculous that she suddenly burst out laughing. "Do you seriously need to ask me that,
Tyler?"
"Well, how will I ever know what answers you're looking for if you don't ask the questions?"
"Don't tell me you think you're the innocent party in this matter."
"If you're referring to all the women in here, well, all I can say is this is just a necessary part of doing business. I
haven't done anything with those women."
"Just a necessary part of doing business?" Vicky scoffed, and her gaze turned cold. "Is throwing around a million

Tyler leaned against the sofa and crossed his legs elegantly and casually." Do you know who owns this club?"
Vicky was a little taken aback, but she immediately understood what he meant.
"Tell me... Why are you doing this, then?"
"Well for one, it's because of Harvey... And the other is because..." He looked at Vicky and continued, "I'm getting
annoyed at all those people sending me women, so I thought it would save me all the trouble if I just choose a
woman in front of them. At least that way I can have some peace. ■
'So what you're saying is...the work you've been busy doing is just you spending time with all these different women
every night?"
Tyler did not like Vicky's tone and attitude. "As I've mentioned, all this is just a necessary part of doing business."
Vicky then recalled her previous conversation with Noah. At that time, she did get a certain feeling that something
was off about what he said, but she did not give it much thought.
However, it suddenly hit her that it would be normal for Noah to know what Tyler had been doing since they both
revolved in the same business circle. The friend he was talking about was her! He was hesitating whether to tell her
or not because he was afraid that Tyler would take revenge on him, so he had no choice but to do it in a
roundabout way.
'Correct me if I'm wrong, but are you saying that the same thing will be happening in the future as well?"
"Yes."
Vicky did not know what Noah saw nor did she know what Harvey found out. However, Vicky was sure that Tyler had
done something he should not have done for both Noah and Harvey to say that he had crossed the line.
It took Vicky a long while to find her voice again.
"I understand that it's part of your job to build relationships with the other business tycoons, but I'll never forgive

Tyler looked at her and said, "I told you, I've never done anything with those women."
Vicky clenched her fists. "It's not enough that you've never done anything with them. Tyler, you're already married,
so you should keep your distance from other women. Do you understand?"
Tyler remained indifferent to her.
'I'm going to say this one last time, I've never done anything with those women. The reason I called out such a high
price is because Harvey wouldn't stop bidding against me."
"But I remember you were the one who called out the bid first."
"Are you trying to say that I'm interested in the woman I bade for?" Tyler looked at her. "Vicky Shaw, I'm one of the
shareholders in this club. I'm just trying to help the business by driving the prices up. You should know how it works
since you're in the service industry as well."
'What if I say I don't like you doing this?"
"Vicky, I've been doing this in all the four years we've been married." Then, Tyler suddenly remembered something.
He paused and stared at her with his deep, dark eyes. "That's right. I've forgotten you don’t have any memory of
what happened in the past."
