The blinding red light above the emergency room door was on, and the air outside was cold and heavy. Sounds of
steady footsteps could be heard coming from the other end of the corridor.
Selene looked up dazedly from her chair and saw Tyler making his way over to her. Harry was also with her, and he
immediately stood up to greet Tyler. “Mister Hart.”
Tyler looked at him, and asked, “What happened?”
“The doctor said that Miss Gloria has been suffering from depression and it got worse after the recent events she’s
been through,” explained Harry heavily. He paused and glanced at Selene before continuing, “It’s best to ask
Selene for the details.”

her to the point she had become completely invisible to him.
He did not do it out of malice; it was just that he did not want to waste time listening to her bullshit. However, doing
so seemed to have the opposite effect for Selene actually ramped up her efforts to try to get his attention.
At that moment, Selene could feel her body stiffening under the glare of Tyler’s menacing and imposing eyes. In
