Quinn lowered her head for a moment, not very clear about the concept of months. She made up a number
casually and signed. "Five months."
Alexander laughed. "A five-month pregnant belly wouldn't be this small."
Although he was laughing, besides the curve of his mouth, Quinn couldn't tell that he was laughing.
After a moment of thought, Quinn corrected the tfrand signed. "Two months."
"Pregnant for two months, the belly wouldn't show anything yet," he replied.
Quinn deflated, her shoulders sagging. She signed, "I'm not going to be a mom anymore."
Alexander chuckled genuinely this time, though only for a brief moment, before letting out a sigh.
He ruffled her hair. "Alright. Let's go back."
Quinn softened and collapsed into his arms, looking up at him playfully.
Quinn said, "I can't walk anymore." The meaning was clear: she wanted him to carry her.
Alexander looked at her for a moment; in her clear eyes, there was a hint of cunning.
In addition, there was complete trust and vulnerability towards him.
Alexander stared at her for a long time, making Quinn feel a bit uneasy.
Quinn always felt that he was strange, a weird she couldn't quite put her finger on. Before she could figure it out,
he suddenly leaned in and kissed her on the lips. Quinn looked at him in confusion.
His light kiss ended quickly; his arms wrapped tightly around her.

His lips touched the corner of her mouth; and he closed his eyes in silence for a while.
He said, "Don't forget it again."
It seemed like he was talking to himself; Quinn didn't understand, not grasping his meaning.
She could only gaze at him, the two of them standing close, their breaths mingling.
Quinn suddenly felt a pang of sadness for no apparent reason, a bitter sensation tingling at the tip of her nose.
She slowly raised her hand, touching his cheek.
As her fingers grazed his jawline, she felt a slight prickliness.
He had grown a beard, but she couldn't pinpoint when it had happened.
She didn't like it.
After holding her for a while, the man let go of her. "Let's go. I'll carry you."
Quinn snapped back to reality, quickly stood on a stool, waiting for him to turn around, then eagerly climbed
onto his back, wrapping her arms around his neck.

He lifted Quinn onto his back, grabbed her legs, and walked out of the private dining room.
She was light, almost weightless on his back.
As they left the restaurant, many people glanced at them; but Alexander seemed to see nothing and calmly
walked out.

On the divine shoulders, no one could bully her. She showed off to everyone how happy she was.
The hotel was 2km away. Alexander didn't drive. Instead, he carried her on his back along the fragrant
