Chapter 725 Love Makes Your Heart Ache Frederick was confused.
Benjamin narrowed his eyes as he watched Grace's slender figure walk straight to the room at the end of the corridor and push the door open to enter.
He stopped a waiter passing by. "Who is using the premium private room today?" The waiter said respectfully, "It's Mr.
Fulton of Futurelink." Benjamin took out two cigarettes deliberately. "Oh? Who is he entertaining?" The waiter hesitated and was silent for a while.
Benjamin took out a card from his jacket pocket and handed it over along with the cigarettes. "Who is he entertaining?"
The waiter turned sideways and gestured for him to look. "They're the people who drive these cars in the city. There are only a few of them." He looked in the direction of the parking lot. There were a few low-profile Bentley Mulsannes and Audi A6s.
Xander very rarely drank too much. Even when he was entertaining guests, he would control himself. With his position and influence, no one would even try to ply him with alcohol.

He had used his connections extensively for Jake.
Grace knocked cautiously on the door.
The strong smell of alcohol blasted her in
the face, along with the deafening sound of singing.
A bald, middle-aged man was holding the mic and singing a patriotic song.
"As the horses canter into the north and the dust flies up behind them, I will guard this land... Hey! Who are you?" Everyone looked around.
Grace took off her mask calmly. "Hello.
I'm here to see Mr. Fulton of Futurelink." A look of understanding dawned on the man's face. He looked over at the corner of the couch. "Xander, she's here to see you." Grace finally saw the figure in the corner.
The shadows fell on him, making him look both dark and mysterious. Whenever Xander went drinking, he always had a wild, primitive air about him.
Someone tactfully turned the music off.
Grace walked over. Xander took her hands, which were as cold as ice. There was a gentle look in his eyes. "You should have dressed more warmly." There were several people in the private room, and Grace was not accustomed to it. .
She said in a low voice, "Hazel suddenly called me. I was shocked. How could I even think about putting on warmer clothes?" It was already 11:00 pm, but Hazel had called to ask Grace to go over and rescue Xander.
Xander's eyes crinkled into a smile. He looked at her slightly tipsily. "What would you have done if something had happened to me?" Grace could feel the atmosphere inside the room. She looked around cautiously at the crowd. "Um, call the police?"
The crowd burst into laughter.
Xander laughed as well and patted her on the waist. "Let's go and greet them." He began to introduce her to them one by one. They were all around Raymond's age, so Grace spoke to them respectfully.

"I hope that you will honor us with your presence when the time comes." Someone else chimed in, saying, "Of course. The heiress of the Lewis family must be a good match. If the Fultons and the Lewises have a marriage alliance, it would be a story for the ages!" Xander inclined his head.
It was a compliment, but Grace felt that
something didn't feel right.
Her arrival had ended their dinner party.
Hazel saw them out of the club one by one, and after a while, only Xander and Grace were left in the private room.
Xander pulled Grace onto his lap. The atmosphere was seductive. "Were you very anxious?" Grace immediately hit him, looking aggrieved. "Why didn't you make things clear? I just barged in here. I didn't leave a good impression on them." Xander laughed and bounced her on his lap. "Didn't you hear them say that the heiress of the Lewises must be a good catch? I should be thanking my lucky stars." "you're so cheeky." Grace laughed.
In the silence, they could each hear the other's uneven breathing. Grace reached out and cupped his face in her hands. She
sighed. "You must be having a hard time trying to clean up Jake's mess." Xander studied her by the lights, looking relaxed. "Are you thanking me on his behalf?" "0f course not. What I meant is that Uncle Raymond asking you to step up for Jake must have been hard on you." Grace had once read somewhere that love was when your heart often ached for someone.
Whenever she thought about how Xander had been treated for so many years, her heart seemed to twist with sympathy. She felt that it was undoubtedly love.
Xander trembled slightly, and there was an intense emotion in his eyes.
