As the bodyguards on the third floor were fixated on Katie, Angus and his team swiftly subdued them.

“What do you mean by ‘petty‘? I call this being strategic!” Katie smirked. With a wave of her hand, she
motioned for her guards to step aside.
Suddenly, a man’s angry voice sounded.
“Well, well, well. What a clever strategy.” Howard walked up the stairs and snorted. When he looked at
Katie, his eyes were filled with apparent disgust. Then, he added, “Ms. Upton, please leave my
mansion immediately. There’s no room here for your antics.”
Katie suddenly turned around, feeling guilty. “It’s not what you think, Howard. Let me explain..
“What’s there to explain? Why did you lead a group of people to break into my house? And you even
bullied my staff?”
Howard cast a disgusted glance at her. “I don’t want to see irrelevant people in my house. If you don’t
leave, I’ll have you escorted out.”
“Howard! Are you actually saying that I’m irrelevant?” Katie stamped her foot in frustration, shouting,
“I’m your future wife! Why are you treating me like this? I followed you from Svelton to Farlem, and
you’re not moved in the slightest?”
She continued, “You know you’re engaged to me, and you know I’d get jealous, yet you treat that bitch

Howard’s face visibly darkened, and he said, “It seems you’ve forgotten how we got engaged
the first place. If you insist on dwelling on these matters, I don’t mind reminding you.”
