All of a sudden, Jason's phone rang again.
"I have to take this.." He said and then stood up. It was James calling.
"Jason, where are you?" He asked. Jason sighed and looked at Kiera.
"I'm somewhere around.." He said and James sighed.
"You better hurry up. Do you know the board members are waiting for you?" He asked.
"Even Elle left.." He added.
"Gosh! I will be right there. Someone kept me waiting.."
"Just hurry up!" James said and he hung up.
He looked at Kiera who was also on a phone call.
"Mummy, I said I'm sorry. I just wanted to follow you. Don't be mad at me please.." She whined and Jason chuckled.
"Gosh! Kiera! Don't you ever do this again. Do you know how worried I was about you and also Mamita?"
"I'm really sorry mum.." Kiera said and Jason smiled.
"Where are you?" Elle further asked.
"I'm at an infirmary in the company.."
"Gosh! What happened to you? Did you get hurt?" Elle asked.
"Mummy, don't worry I'm fine. Just come get me. I'm really hungry and I already miss your face.." Kiera said and Elle chuckled.
"Okay but who are you with?" She asked.
"Well, he's the young handsome man I told you about. You see, mummy. I told you he's my saviour and I love him very very
much.." She said.
"Okay, okay.." She said.
"I'm coming soon..' Elle added.
"I love you mummy..' Kiera said.
"I love you too.." Elle said and then hung up.
"Mr Handsome, who are you to quickly captured my daughter's heart?" She said and then smiled.
"Kiera's really something. She really took after her dad in mischievous things.." She thought and then grabbed her bag, then she
started her walk to the infirmary centre.
"Was that your mum?" He asked and she nodded.
"Yes...." Kiera said and Jason smiled.
"I have to go now, princess. I'll see you later or you can call me..' He said and she pecked him.
"Wait, you haven't told me what your name is?" Kiera said.
"Well, you can me Michael.." He said and she smiled.
"You have a beautiful name.." She said and then hugged him again. Jason smiled and hugged her back.
He pulled away from the hug and pecked her forehead.
"I have to go now. I'll call you.." He said and she pouted.
"I will miss you. I am already missing you.." She pouted like she was about to cry. Jason sighed and hugged her tightly. He was
also missing her already.
"I don't know why but I really really like you. Please don't go.." She said and he smiled. He broke the hug and kissed her hair.
"I have to go. I have an important meeting to attend to. I'm really sorry. I'll call you and we will meet up again, hmmm.." He kissed
her forehead again..
Then he stood up.
Kiera pouted sadly and he sighed.
"Stop making me feel like this. I promise I'll call you.." He told her and she nodded with a smile. Then he walked out. A few
seconds after he left.
Elle came in and she sighed when she sae her.
"Kiera!" She called. Kiera stood up and ran into her embrace.
"Gosh! My princess. I told you to stop doing these things. Stop being mischievous. You don't want to give me an heart attack, do
you?" Elle asked and kissed her hair.
"I'm sorry mummy. I promise not to do it again.." Kiera said and pulled away from the hug.
"That's my baby, you shouldn't do that again. Wait, where's the guy who saved you? The handsome guy?"
"Oh! He left already." Kiera said.
"Aww, that's bad. Well, I'll get to meet him another day. What's his name again?" She asked.
"Michael!" Kiera said excitedly and Elle smiled cause she remembered Jason.
"He has such a cute name? Doesn't he?" Kiera asked and Elle nodded.
"Yeah, Michael is a cool name..' She said.
"Let's go.." She said and they walked to the car.
She placed Kiera at the backseat and she started playing some games on her phone while Elle drove off.
Her phone suddenly rang when she saw it was Tyson calling. She rolled her eyes and hurriedly glanced back at her daughter. If
she answers the call, there is no way, Kiera wouldn't hear anything they are saying.."

"Hello, Tyson. I'm busy right now. I'll call you back.." She immediately said and made to hang up but then he said something that
caught hwe attention.
"Wait, sweetheart. Do you know my elder brother agreed to marry Giselle?" He asked unbelievably.
Elle's eyes widened immediately.
"What?!"
"What do you mean by that?" She almost yelled but she restrained herself.
"I didn't believe it also cause I know brother but mum herself confirmed it and they have even chosen an engagement date.." He
said and Elle's jaws dropped again.
"Calm down, Danielle.." She told herself. Her lips trembled, even her hands trembled on the sterling.
"The engagement party is happening in two weeks.." Tyson added and Elle looked back at Kiera. Her eyes was getting teary but
no! She will never cry. This is a minor thing. She won't cry for it!
Elle assured herself and then hung up the call.

OUTSKIRTS OF THE CITY.
Damien walked into the room where Langford was kept and he found him staring into space. There was bandages on both his
legs, though they were still bound. Same with his hands.
"Mayor Langford.." He called and He looked at him.
"Are you willing to talk?" He asked further but Langford said nothing.
Damien sighed.
"I don't want to hurt you since you are still recovering but don't expect me to go easy on you tomorrow.." Damien said and was
about to leave but.
"I'll tell you!" Langford suddenly said.
Damisn smirked and turned back.
"Go on.." He said.
"He has very important and prominent people supporting him and one of them that I know is Senator Leo.." He said and
Damien's eyes widened.
"What?!" He said frozen to the spot.
