Cecilia’s phone rang out of the blue. She took it out and smiled when she saw the caller. ”Enough choosing. Alice’s

favorite person is calling.”

At the time, Ethan was standing right outside the door, so he accidentally heard her words.

Alice? Her favorite?

Ethan could tell that Alice didn’t love Bruce, so he had never paid any attention to Bruce.

Ethan thought of the call Alice had when she was in the hotel. Her gentleness when she spoke to the other party

and her never-ending praises…

He had a hunch that the call was from that person.

That person wasn’t Bruce. Even if he had never met that person, he knew they were important to her. Someone

that he couldn’t compare to!

can we forget? This is Alice’s one true love. No one can take his place in her heart. No man outside can compare to

him. It’ll be humiliating if they even try.”

Outside the room, every word Lydia said was heard by Ethan, and his expression grew colder and colder.

Then at that moment, Ethan finally realized they were talking about a man!

”Why did he call you? Why didn’t he call me? Is it for Alice?” Lydia asked with a little jealousy.

”Of course. Why would he call me if he’s fine? Don’t even think about it. Only Alice has such an honor,” Cecilia

complained, wrinkles appearing on her face. Apollo had always been arrogant and aloof.

He wouldn’t talk to anyone randomly except for Alice!

”Didn’t you say that your phone was dead? Contacting you will be impossible, so he called me instead.” Cecilia

handed the phone to Alice quickly. ”Go on, pick it up yourself.”

Alice answered the phone with a smile, ”Hello…?”

The moment Alice spoke, her voice softened immediately, the kind of tenderness Ethan had described.

In that split second, Ethan had an answer. The person who called her was the same person who spoke to her at the

hotel!

It was the same man!

Ethan moved away from the door and leaned against the wall. There was a mirthless smile playing on his lips.

He took out a cigarette but didn’t light it. He held it between his fingers as he listened to the conversation in the

room.

”Mom, how’s everything?” Apollo didn’t even bother waiting for Alice as he asked hurriedly, clearly worried about

his mother.

”Well. It went well.” Alice felt warmth in her heart. As a result, her voice turned even more tender. Her baby Apollo

was really a soothing balm to her soul.

Although Apollo was young, he was smart and talented. Two years ago, Apollo mentioned that he shouldn’t be

excluded from family affairs no matter his age since he was also a member of the Woland Family.

So, Alice didn’t even think about hiding anything from Apollo. ”I don’t think that Charles is related to my father, so I

took a blood sample for a paternity test. I think the results will be out soon.”

Ethan listened carefully to Alice’s voice and words, and the smile on his lips grew.

Whenever he was involved, she would do everything to hide her affairs. She avoided him and never told him a

single thing about her.

However, she would tell this other person everything without prompting.

This person was more important to her than he was?

She trusted this person on the other side of the phone more than him?

She relied on this person more than him?

From the conversation between Cecilia and Lydia, it wasn’t difficult for him to guess that the person was a man.

love with him no matter what.

Ethan straightened himself and walked away from the private room.

Ethan burst out laughing. He sounded insane. Even if he found the other man, what would he do?

He couldn’t even think about that since Alice would definitely take the other man’s side without hesitation.

”Mr. Knight.” Caleb, who was waiting in the lobby, was a little surprised when he saw Ethan coming down. ”Mister…”
