Ethan’s Vengeance of Love

As the picture captured Alice’s cheek without the scar, she looked captivatingly beautiful.

Alice had a gorgeous smile inside the picture, and Keith was also beaming.

Since Alice hadn’t expected Keith would suddenly approach her, she quickly dodged when he neared

her.

Actually, she dodged very quickly, and there was still quite a distance between them when they were

Coincidentally, Suzette was classmates and best friends with Derek’s younger sister, so Derek’s sister

reposted it after seeing the post and didn’t even change the caption.

In the meantime, Alice didn’t know any of that. She was looking at James, waiting for his reply.

“Sure. Let’s play a round or two.” James was fascinated with chess and wanted to test Alice, so he

wouldn’t refuse her offer.

“Let’s head to the study.” Alice smiled. Everything was going like how she had planned—James didn’t

refuse her suggestion.

However, the others who wanted to follow them into the study were stopped outside the door, including

Charles and Keith.

She couldn’t let Keith interrupt her plan, and as for Charles, although he hadn’t done any harmful things

until now, she couldn’t trust him fully.



“Old Mr. Rowland, how about we add a wager?” Inside the study, Alice didn’t begin playing chess

immediately but added a condition.

“What would you like to bet on?” James smiled mockingly as he knew she had an ulterior motive. Who

says she’s foolish? She’s clearly an intelligent person.

“If I win, this proposal ends here and let us, the younger generation, deal with our own matters,” Alice

spoke directly but also gave James some room to negotiate.

As long as James agreed to end this mess, Keith would be easy to deal with.

“But what if I win?” James looked at her and smiled meaningfully.

“If you win, I’ll agree to the Rowlands’ proposal for a marriage, and you can even ask us to get married

tomorrow.” Since Alice knew James’ intentions very well, she was extremely harsh on herself when it

came to her part of this bet and left herself no room to negotiate.

She knew the result James wanted the most and that he was very confident in his chess skills, so he

would certainly agree to the bet.



see how capable she really was. “Sure. Let’s go with your plan.”

“Let’s begin.” Alice smiled. Still behaving calmly and easy.

While looking at her behavior, James didn’t dare to underestimate her. Moreover, this was related to his

grandson’s marriage, so he couldn’t lose.

When Derek saw his sister’s post, it had been posted for quite some time. At first, he didn’t pay much

herself, Derek could still somewhat recognize that the woman was Alice.

indeed Alice.

“But the man beaming beside her is Keith Rowland, right? Why are Keith and Alice together?” Derek



“To the Woland Residence.” At this moment, Ethan had arrived at Rodcaster. He descended the plane

and got inside a car before ordering Caleb in such a cold voice that he shivered.

Taking a sharp breath, Caleb thought, Oh, my gosh! Mr. Knight is so terrifying right now. Would there

be bloodshed if he goes to the Woland Residence like this?

Inside the car, Ethan was looking at the picture on his phone as his eyes squinted little by little. He

knew he had misunderstood her about the washing-grapes incident, but what about this picture?

The picture showed her smiling while looking at Keith, and she was smiling so damn beautifully. He

hadn’t even seen her smile like that before. Moreover, Keith was there to propose a marriage between

their families, so why was she smiling at him? Was she happy that Keith came to propose to marry

her? With how close their faces were, it was like Keith was about to kiss her. She was married, so how



secretly sighed. He knew Ethan was in a hurry, so he was already driving at top speed.

traffic police.
