“Her grace is in no position to travel and you know it!” My eyes opened to see Lewis holding the king back, |
watched the royal alpha struggle in his betas hold, due to Lewis's interference, a small fight broke out between
the two wolves.
After simply a minute, beta Lewis suddenly spun the king around with sforce and slammed him into the wall
near the door. My eyes widened at the act as did the kings, the latter of which immediately stopped his
struggle.
“She can’t travel in this condition.”

Wait, not hot but you know, it was nice to have someone on my side for once. | had said it before that lewis was
a good looking man, but seeing him stand up to the king was something | wasn’t expecting, especially when he
was standing up to him for my sake.
“And what do you expectto do with her if | was to go alone? | can’t have her locked in the dungeon again,
can 1? You toldyourself she couldn't stay down there.” What? Lewis was the reason the king released me?

“I'll stay! I'll make sure she doesn’t do anything stupid!” The kings movements halted and he shook the betas

couldn’t help but mentally commend Lewis on his calm demeanor despite the kings rage.

“She’s coming with me...” Lewis shook his head and growled at king Josh.
“She’s not going as long as I'm here!” The argument was starting to becchildish now.
“Fine!” The kings fist quickly swung and smashed into the wall closest to him, then turned back to his beta pure
frustration took hold of his features as he pointed at his friends face. “She stays, but she will stay with you! |

one last look atbefore storming out of the room.
“Why did you do that for me?” | asked as my gaze met that of the betas.
“You don’t deserve to be treated like this. No one does.” He walked over toand placed his hand on my head,
the gesture seemed to warm my cheeks a little bit as my eyes met his. “Get srest, Dylan, you need
it”
He was right, | could feel my eyes
closing as | stared at the man wie
