| walked out of the room slowly, heading to my father office which seton edge. | was genuinely expecting
this specific situation to be blown completely out of proportion, however when | got to the alphas office and saw
my mother sitting on the sofa looking exhausted, | stopped, completely frozen in place.
"Where is he?!" | asked hesitant to hear the answer.
"He's gone to see your sisters mates family." My heart sank in my chest at this revelation, he had already left, he
had gone personally to see Nicks dad. Not only Nicks dad, but Dylans brother... Freddie Riley lived there too.

I hightailed out of the office as fast as my legs could carry me, the pack house beca blur and | actually

own mind.

one of my peers by branding her with his fucking claw." | was so angry that my words seemed to rush out of my
mouth with a venom that wasn't aware | even

still walking towards Nicks old house while | berated the alpha for his notions.

"I believe he is your son in laws brother, alpha." That was the ruse that had been circulating ever since the king
made that assumption Myself and Nick agreed it was the best lie.
"No... this boy, is the brother of Queen Dylan... | think the king will be most grateful to have a trigger for his
queens return." My dad grabbed Freddie's wrist tightly before | could even move.
