Chapter 136
After dinner, While the entire pack house went out to take part in their training exercises and the humans once
again remained in the sitting room, | excused myself, and allowed myself to finally try and set things in motion. It
was proving to be extremely difficult.
| made phone calls, | sent messages and emails, | requested old fashioned video chats and | searched through
the entire contents of the laptop. Still | cup completely empty handed. | guess there is a reason the
rebellion has managed to stay hidden for so long, there was no way of contacting
them.
I had exhausted myself trying to help Dylan, when a thought occurred to me, Dylan always knew her way around
things, and it was her cell phone in the first place, which means she had the connections needed to help, the

attempt to help, never mind actually leaving for the rebellion.
What about Nick?
Nick knew her well, maybe he could aidin my seemingly impossible task. | wasn’t entirely sure what he could
do that I hadn't already, but at the very least, it couldn’t hurt for him to try. Dylan's situation was getting more
and more desperate, anyone with eyes could see that. She was one more incident away from accepting the kings
mark, and if that happened then all hope would truly be lost,

So, | waited, and waited, not taking my eyes any of the screens in front of me, in the hopes that I'd get some
form of response. Eventually the right tpresented itself and | was able to ask Nick and Arya to my room.
“How's it going?” Nick asked as he looked over at the screens in front of me. | sighed, running my hands through
my now disheveled hair and locked at the couple in front of me.
“It’s not going. I've tried absolutely everything | can think of. I'm very quickly realizing why the rebellion hasn't
been found yet. It's almost impossible to get in touch with them.” | buried my tired face into my hands and once
again sighed at the amount of effort | had used while getting absolutely no where. “We need Dylan.”
“Well, she’s clearly not herself right now, so she is out of the question. You'll have to find another way!” Nick was
right, but who else did we know that could help? There was literally no one else who had the sconnections
and knowledge. Dylan was our only shot at getting her out.
“Even if we manage to get things sorted, how on earth are we going to get queen Dylan away from the king in
the first place?” My sister had a very point. | was well aware of how closely he was watching her since the death
of her mother. He has her on a tight leash and he knows exactly how to wield it.
“She's right Adrian, the king barely lets her out of his sight except for school, and now it's the weekend, it makes

everything in. Dylan was tightly trapped, it would take a miracle to even get a reply never mind actually
orchestrating the escape.
“Ok, So | acted on impulse... but look at what he’s doing to her, the best thing for everyone is to get Dylan to the
rebels.” It’s just a question of how
“The dungeon!” Nick quickly lifted his head up toand | frowned in confusion. What was he suggesting. “The
king has already threatened her with it, if she’s locked up in the dungeon then she’s away from him.”
