Chapter 102 Swear On It Benson's face twisted in pain as blood trickled from the corner of his mouth.

Sophie stood there, stunned, frozen for several seconds before finally rushing forward to help him up.

"Benson! Are you okay?"

Benson forced himself to sit up straight, wiping the blood from his lips. He lifted his head, confusion and

frustration in his eyes as he stared at Theo.

"Uncle Theo, why did you hit me? What did | do wrong?"

Theo's voice was low and cold, his gaze sharp as a blade. "Do you really needto spell it out for you? Threats,

humiliation—is that how you handle relationships?"

Benson's eyes flickered. He glanced at Sierra, who sat quietly in her chair, her face emotionless.

For a split second, regret flashed in his eyes.

But his pride refused to let him back down. His voice was firm as he retorted, "Uncle Theo, this is my personal

business. You don't need to get involved."

"Her business is my business."

Theo's deep voice carried an unmistakable chill, making Benson's brows furrow.

His gaze darted back and forth between Theo and Sierra, and a thought he didn't dare believe crept into his

mind.

"Uncle Theo, you never get involved in other people's business. You and Sierra have barely even met-so why are

you so protective of her?" Benson's voice rose, anger creeping in. "Don't tell me—you like her? She's my

girlfriend!"

"Benson, that's enough!" Sierra's voice was cold as she finally spoke, her eyes still wet with unshed tears. "Not

everyone treats relationships like a joke the way you do. When | was with you, | never had feelings for anyone

else.

"I broke up with you because you never respected me, and you never knew how to keep proper boundaries with

other women. The breakup was on you, not me. So, don't go blaming innocent people for your mistakes."

"No, | don't believe you."

"I swear on my grandfather's grave—I have never done anything to betray you. Can you swear the same?"

Sierra's voice was steady and firm as she looked him straight in the eye.

Benson visibly stiffened. His gaze flickered, avoiding hers. It was as if a swarm of ants was crawling under his

skin, eating away at his confidence, and filling him with guilt.

Sierra took in his reaction, and her expression dimmed. Her fingers curled slightly on her lap, the subtle

movement betraying her disappointment.

Theo caught the small motion, and a sharp pang struck his chest. His gaze darkened even further when he

noticed the clear red mark on her face.

"Who hit her?"

His voice cout like ice laced with venom, deep and guttural, like something straight out of a nightmare.

Sophie flinched hard, her whole body trembling. She ducked behind Benson, desperate to disappear. Theo turned

his head, his cold glare slicing toward Hanson, who lay on the floor.

Hanson frantically shook his head, his bloodied hand trembling as he pointed at Sophie. His voice cout

shaky.

"No, it wasn't me! It was her! It was all her idea! She even wanted Sierra—Ms. Shaw-to get down on her knees

and grovel to her!"

Sophie shot Hanson a sharp, hateful glare for ratting her out. However, the moment Theo's icy gaze landed on

her, she couldn't stop the shiver that ran down her spine.

"I-1 only hit her because she slappedfirst!" she stammered, trying to justify herself.

Without a word, Theo reached for a fruit knife on the table and casually tossed it in front of her.

The clatter of metal against the floor made Sophie jump in terror. Her face was drained of all color.
