Yvette didn't expect him to remember everything from the past so clearly, and she forced out a smile. "Thank you. I'm fine." Jeremiah saw how pale she looked and how red her eyes were. It didn't seem like she was fine at all.

He got in the driver's seat and turned up the heater. He even played her favorite song from when she was a girl. Yvette was genuinely surprised when she heard the song. "I'd already forgotten about this song." "I listened to it all the twhen I was receiving treatment abroad," he said.
When she heard that, she couldn't help feeling bad. "How were you when you were abroad?" Hearing that she was finally asking about him, Jeremiah mumbled, "Not bad. It's just that I spent my tsleeping more than being awake." Just as they were about to drive off, they saw a Bentley approaching them. Then, an adult and a child alighted the vehicle.
Kiki had left her house with Zachary at 5:00 am. However, since it was almost Christmas, there was a terrible traffic jam. So, they still ended up being late.
When Yvette saw them alighting the vehicle, she immediately got out of the car. "Zac. Kiki." Their eyes were red as well, and they clearly cried earlier.

"Please don't be sad, Ms. Snyder." He changed his way of calling her. Yvette knew what he was doing and wasn't surprised at all.
When Kiki saw Jeremiah, she didn't recognize who he was. "Have Xavier's eyes recovered?"
