Chapter 560 "Mr. Pritchett, it's been a while," said someone warmly from behind Hendrix, causing him to pause briefly.

But he didn't turn around and instead continued speaking calmly with the person in front of him. He hadn't wanted to attend this party in the first place, but the host was a close acquaintance, so he had reluctantly shown up to make an appearance.

What he hadn't expected was to run into the last person he wanted to see so soon after arriving. He knew Dylan and Noelle were together now. Just a few days ago, Erwin had sent him a photo of Dylan and Noelle holding hands.

Hendrix had already made up his mind not to concern himself with their affairs anymore. But Erwin, as if having discovered a new toy, seemed to take pleasure in using this to provoke him every day.

Hendrix didn't know if Erwin enjoyed seeing him suffer or if he was trying to prove how laughable Hendrix's past promises of unwavering devotion to Noelle had been. Whatever the reason, he had already blocked him.

But he hadn't expected to run into Dylan tonight.

As an emerging company, Dyno Corporation had indeed made impressive progress over the past two years. But it was just that—impressive, nothing more. Because no matter how talented Dylan was, success in the business world still required countless moments of groveling and compromising just to secure a deal. Hendrix wondered if Noelle had ever seen this side of Dylan the side that had to flatter and fawn to get ahead. And if she had, would she still like him? As Hendrix was lost in thought, Dylan walked over with a glass of wine in hand.

"Good evening, Mr. Freeman," he greeted with a smile.

Hendrix gave him a slight nod in acknowledgment. His cold demeanor was written all over his face.

Dylan, however, didn't seem to mind. He smiled and continued, "It's been a while. You've been quite busy lately, haven't you? I heard that the second phase of the Evernorth project is about to launch." Hendrix glanced at him. "You're very well informed, Mr. Pritchett." "With such a big move from Amity Group, everyone in the industry must know by now. In the current market, only Amity Group has the resources to mobilize such a large amount of capital for a project like this.

"I know my company isn't in the running, but if there are any opportunities, I hope you'll keep us in mind." Dylan handed over his business card with both hands.

Hendrix just stood there, watching him. Honestly, at this moment, he would have preferred Dylan to throw a few provoking words his way. That would have been better than him acting as if there were no hard feelings between them at all. In Hendrix's eyes, if Dylan had any pride, he could seek partnerships with anyone -anyone but him. The reason being Noelle, of course. Yet, Dylan showed no signs of hesitation.

His attitude was no different than anyone else's at the party trying to curry favor with Hendrix. It was as if, in Dylan's eyes, Hendrix was no different from anyone else.

This realization was more humiliating than any direct insult. Hendrix's grip on his wine glass tightened.

Dylan, however, seemed oblivious.

Just as he handed over his business card, his phone rang. He didn't step away to take the call. Instead, he pulled out his phone right in front of Hendrix.

It was a video call request. Hendrix recognized the caller's profile picture immediately it was a photo of NOV Noelle and Rosie. If he remembered correctly, he should have been in that photo, too.
