Fred stood up. He appeared extremely tall next to Madelyn's petite figure. He looked intimidating and dangerous, causing Madelyn to take a step back. But Fred continued to approach her. He slowly cornered her against the wall until she had no space left to move. He raised his hand, held it against the wall behind Madelyn, and slowly leaned down.
In desperation, Madelyn suddenly blurted out, "Fred, you've deceived Mya for so long. Does she not hold any place in your heart?" Madelyn was betting that Fred had some feelings for Mya.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtShe continued, "If you touch me today, Mya will never forgive you for the rest of her life." When Fred heard Mya's name, he stopped moving as if something bothered him. Mya's innocent face and eyes appeared in his mind. He could also hear her voice, ‘Fred, I'm hungry.
‘Fred, I'm thirsty. | want to drink water.
‘Fred, you're pressing very hard against my tummy.
‘Fred, | want to sleep a little more..." Madelyn noticed an unusual expression that quickly flashed past his eyes at that moment.
Fred suddenly smiled, "Instead of mentioning her, you should mention Zach. Perhaps | might be a little gentler with you later for the sake of my friendship with him." Then, Riley's voice was heard from the outside, "Mr. Turner." Fred asked, "What's the matter?" Riley came in and whispered lowly in Fred's ear so only the two of them could listen.
Fred suddenly turned around and used the hot towel on the table to wipe his hands before casually throwing it back, "Since that's the case, you can leave now. I'm not interested in a dull woman like you." Madelyn did not know what Riley said to Fred. But when she heard Fred's words, she rushed out of the private room without hesitation.

Paradise Club will disappear from Marisburg tonight.” Eva stood up and chuckled, "You're quite good at joking. Everyone knows the background of Paradise Club. No one in the entire city dares to mess with it." Fred responded, "You all messed with her. He's capable of doing anything.” He started smoking his cigar. He thought, 'In the beginning, | did want to make a move on Madelyn. But, for some reason, when | was given the opportunity, that fool disturbed me." Eva did not know who the "he" Fred was talking about. So, she cautiously asked, "Mr. Turner, do you mind telling me the background of that girl?" Fred pulled the beautifully dressed, innocent-looking Eva to him. He then exhaled smoke into her face as he put his hand on her butt, "You'll find out very soon." Eva charmingly smiled as she drew circles on Fred's chest with her finger, "Let's go to the private room. I've had people prepare many interesting things." Eva caressed his face as she stared at his injured eye. She then looked at his cold, thin lips. When she was about to kiss him, he mistook the slender woman before him for Mya. He imagined her voice, 'Fred, you're pressing on our little baby." He instantly shook off the distracting thought and lifted Eva in his arms. The attentive waiter opened the door of the private room.
Just as Madelyn was about to escape through the elevator, her mouth and nose were unexpectedly covered by a cloth. She smelled something pungent from the cloth, causing her to lose consciousness very quickly.
In the dimly lit elevator corridor, two men carried Madelyn to a safe passage.
The drug dosage was not high, and Madelyn regained consciousness after just a few minutes.
