Titus jumped off the couch when he heard the man's statement.

He looked at the man in disbelief and asked, "Are you sure that you were sent to kill me?" And was a

member of the Lake family in Janestown who asked you to kill me?"

The man nodded noncommittally.

"Who the f*ck have I offended? I can't believe the Lake family in Janestown sent someone to kill me. It

pisses me off. Brother Lennon, when are you going to Janestown? I'll go with you! I want to see who's

trying to kill me!" Titus fumed.

He never had any contact with the Lake family in Janestown, and having Darkness hunt him for no

apparent reason was something Titus could not accept.

Sean glanced at him and asked with a smile, "Aren't you being silly? We had just fallen out with

Kennedy, and Darkness came to Ocean City. It's mostly because of Kennedy. Who else besides

Kennedy and Curtis would want to kill you? I don't suppose the Lake family in Janestown has enough

free time to think about you."

Titus also calmed down and curtly nodded his head.

Titus answered through gritted teeth, "After I bring down Kennedy and Curtis, I'll lock them up in a

pigsty! How dare they send someone to kill me? Even if I hate them, I never thought of sending
