Chapter 33 Be My Girlfriend

“Auntie, what are you thinking about? You watched me grow up. I was not at home before, so there was nothing I

could do. Now that I’m back, if you don’t tell me anything, who else can you tell? Auntie, how’s Sarah these two

days?”

Samantha sighed and shook her head. “The day before yesterday she happened to see Julian with that girl in the

office. That day, Julian’s Big Brother also came back. I don’t know what she was thinking that day. This matter

probably dealt a huge blow to her. In a fit of anger, she registered with Julian’s Big Brother and got married. It was

really troublesome.”

“What?” David looked at Samantha in surprise. He did not believe the news.

“Sarah is Julian’s sister-in-law. Their wedding will be held a few days later.” Samantha shook her head helplessly.

Although she agreed to the marriage between her daughter and Christian, she had an indescribable feeling in her

heart.

“How could this be?” When he heard Samantha’s words, David’s brows tightly knitted together. He was somewhat

silent.

When Sarah returned home, she saw David sitting and talking to her mother. She immediately walked over happily

and shouted. “Mr. David!”

“Sarah!” The moment David saw Sarah, his brows instantly relaxed. He stood up from the sofa and looked at her

with a grin, revealing a mouthful of white teeth.

“Mr. David, you have grown so tall? You are also handsome! If you go to our company… You’ll definitely be liked by

those girls!” Sarah kept looking at him as she spoke.

The David in front of her was tall and big. He was wearing a dark blue gray checkered shirt and a pair of well-ironed

pants, which showed his figure very well. He still had neat and short hair. His eyes under his eyebrows shone with

light of wisdom. Especially when he smiled, his entire body emitted a ray of sunlight.

Her Mr. David was still as before!

Sarah looked at David, who she had not seen for many years, and the gloom in her heart instantly disappeared. She

giggled and hugged David’s arm as she sat on the sofa. She looked at him left to right.

David could not help but laugh when he heard her words. He reached out and took out the honey dates. He

unwrapped the box and stuffed the honey dates into her mouth. “I remember you like the honey dates. So I

brought it with me.”

Sarah giggled and chewed as she looked at David who was sitting upright. She gave a thumps up. “It’s really

delicious. You are still the best person to me.”

Samantha looked at her daughter’s expression and could not help but laugh, “Look at her, when you come back,

she is not serious at all!”

Sarah smiled and hugged David’s arm, “Mom, he is my brother, okay?”

David also smiled when he heard her. “Auntie, you don’t need to be polite with me.”

Samantha looked at the time and saw that it was almost noon. She stood up from the sofa. “Sarah you accompany

David and have a good talk. I will go and prepare for lunch.”

“Auntie, you don’t need to prepare lunch. Today I will treat Sarah and you a lunch in my restaurant.” Just as

Samantha was about to leave, David stopped her.

Sarah immediately looked at him in surprise. “You opened a restaurant here?”

David smiled and nodded. “The branch has just opened a while ago. I haven’t had time to check it out. Let’s go and

have some delicious food together.”

“Mr. David, you are awesome! Mom, you don’t have to prepare lunch anymore. Let’s go to Mr. David’s restaurant.”

Sarah listened to David. She was happy for him from the bottom of her heart.

“Alright! Then let’s go with David today.” Because of David’s arrival, Samantha’s mood also improved a lot.

“Then let’s go now!”

The three of them walked out of the house and went downstairs. David walked straight to a BMW X5 parked not far

away. He smiled and opened the rare door.

Sarah walked over with her mother in surprise. “Mr. David, is it your car?”

David smiled. “Yes! I just bought it.”

“Mr. David, it seems like you have made a fortune!” Sarah happily sat with her mother.

David sat in the driver’s seat and started the car as he spoke, “My ability is a little stronger than before…”

“Mr. David, are you going to leave this time?”

“No! I am not leaving! I am going to move here!”

“That’s great!” Sarah shouted happily.

The car drove about 20 minutes in the city before reaching their destination. Sarah got off the car and looked at the

newly renovated hotel and sighed endlessly. When this hotel opened a while ago, she also paid attention to it. She

just never thought that the restaurant belonged to David.

David walked over and welcomed the mother and daughter with a smile. “Auntie, Sarah let’s go.”

Sarah nodded and looked at the name of the hotel.

She looked at the three words and blinked. She held her mother’s arm and walked in.

The hotel staff knew that their boss was coming. So when they came, the manager directly led to a luxurious

private room. The waiter quickly brought the menu over. Then he specially poured the special tea for the three of

them.

After the three of them ordered the dishes, David waved at the manager to leave. The hotel manager nodded and

left the room.

“Mr. David, I paid attention to the hotel when it opened a while ago. But I never thought that this would be your

hotel! When you left that year, you said you wanted to sell clothes. Why did you open restaurant?” Sarah still

remembered that before David left, he told her that he had to make name for himself.

David smiled embarrassedly. “I was too young back then. At that time, I was thinking about opening a clothing

factory when I have money in future. Later on I found that the clothing business is not easy to do! So I had no

choice but run a restaurant business. In the end, I accidently entered in food and beverage industry…”

“You are a good person and willing to work hard. Your achievements are also within my expectations!” Samantha

looked at David and generously praised him.

“Auntie, if you don’t have an appetite in future, come to my restaurant to eat. I guarantee that they will make

different dishes for you every day.”

“Okay! If I don’t want to cook in future, I will come here for freehold food.” Samantha replied with a smile.

Because David’s sudden appearance, the lunch was very lively. A smile hung on both Sarah and Samantha’s face. It

could be seen that they were very happy for David’s arrival.

After the lunch, Samantha said the she wanted to go home and rest. Due to David’s strong request, Samantha had

no choice but allow him to send her home. When the car stopped, she got off the car and turned around to look at

Sarah and instructed, “Sarah, David came after a long time. You go and talk with him,”

Sarah immediately smiled and nodded. “I know Mom!”

Sarah watched her mother walked into the corridor before the BMW X5 started and drove out of the neighborhood.

The car drove through the city. He sat beside the woman he liked, but David was not happy at all.

A few years ago, when he found that she was engaged to Julian, in fit of anger, he left the city. All these years, he

had been working outside nonstop. He only hoped that one day, when he returned with a successful career, he

could chase after her with the same status as Julian.

But he never had thought that when he saw her again a few years later, she would already be married! And the

person she married was not Julian at all!

The car finally stopped at the beach.

David reached out his pocket and took out a cigarette. When he put it in his mouth, he looked at Sarah and threw it

outside.

“Sarah, let’s go outside…”

“Okay!” Sarah smiled and nodded. She opened the car door and got out the car. She followed him to the beach.

The two of them walked very far away. Sarah seemed to have felt his silence oppression. She looked at David and

said with a smile. “Mr. David, you are really becoming more and more handsome. Did you bring any girlfriend this

time? She must be very pretty, right?”

David looked at her smile and also smiled. “I don’t have a girlfriend!”

Sarah immediately stopped walking and looked at him. “You are so outstanding. How can you not have a

girlfriend?”

“You think I am outstanding?” David smiled and asked back.

Sarah immediately nodded. “Yes! You are so handsome and you do business. You are also very good. If you are not

good, who is good?”

“Then be my girlfriend!” David looked at her fiercely.

Sarah’s face changed slightly when she heard this. She looked at the distant sea for a few seconds. Then she

suddenly turned around and smiled at him. “It’s impossible for me…” I’m already married!

She could not say these words. She had always clear why he left that year. But at that time her world was filled with

Julian.

David looked at her and silent for a few seconds. He reached out and gently grabbed her shoulder to let her look at

him. “Sarah, why did you marry someone you didn’t like?”

Sarah heard his words and blinked her eyes. Then she smiled bitterly. “You already know?”

“Yes! Aunt told me. Sarah, what exactly is this? Even if Julian let you down, you can’t marry his brother in fit of

anger. Marriage is a big thing in life. How can you be hasty?” David was really angry.

If the person she married would be Julian, he would admit defeat but she was not!

Sarah listened to his words and smiled bitterly. She turned to look at the distant sea.

“Girls will get married sooner or later. No matter who I marry it will be the same.”

“Then why don’t you marry me?”
