Chapter 634 I Want to See Her Right Now
Upon hearing the noise, Nicole hurriedly entered the room and saw that Claire had hit her head on the nightstand
when she fell clumsily to the floor.
Claire's fair forehead was stained red with blood, which showed just how hard she hit herself on the nightstand.
“Mom!” Nicole quickly placed the tray on the table and carefully helped Claire up from the floor. “Your body is still
very weak, so you shouldn't be getting out of bed. Why did you try to get off the bed?” she exclaimed with a pained
look on her face.
Claire's head throbbed with pain from the impact, and for the briefest of moments, her mind went completely
blank.
After a few seconds of dizziness, however, she slowly regained her composure.
Recalling what Allie had told her earlier, Claire struggled to get back on her feet with Nicole's help. “Hurry up and
stop Allie from leaving, Nicole! Tell her that I still have a lot of questions for her!” she said while pushing Nicole
toward the door.
Naturally, Nicole was very reluctant to do so.
She held Claire by the arm and said worriedly, “Mrs. Moore has already left, Mom. Can we talk about this after
you've recovered? Your current condition isn't looking too good, so you need to get lots of rest.”
“No, I have to find her and get those answers right now!” Claire was also a very stubborn person.
She then pushed her daughter aside and ran downstairs without even putting on her slippers.
Right as Claire reached the spiral staircase, she saw William coming up the stairs.
Upon seeing his frail wife walking barefoot on the marble floor, William's expression turned gloomy instantly.
He stepped forward and scooped Claire into his arms as he reprimanded her. “Claire! How could you get off the bed

With her arms wrapped tightly around William's neck, Claire was both crying and laughing as she exclaimed, “Guess
what, William? I've found out where our daughter is!”
William was so taken aback that his gloomy expression disappeared for a brief moment.
Upon seeing his wife's pale face, however, he snapped out of it and shot her a stern glare. “Even if you know where
she is, there's no need for you to neglect your health! For now, you should get some rest. We can talk about this
when you're feeling better.”
Claire rested her head against William's chest and broke into a blissful, joyous smile. She winked at him and asked
coquettishly, “William, don't you want to know who our daughter is? I want to go meet her right now!”
William looked at Claire and let out a soft sigh before carrying her back into the bedroom. “Of course, I would be
really happy if we manage to find our daughter, but you matter the most to me. Since we already know where she
is, there's no need to rush things. It's not like she's going to magically disappear anytime soon. Besides, it's you who
will be spending the rest of your life with me, not our daughter. Claire, I need you to take better care of yourself for
me.”
Claire closed her eyes with a contented smile. “All right...”
She truly felt fortunate to have found her biological daughter and to have a husband who loved her so deeply.
Immersed in their own lovey-dovey moment, the couple neglected Nicole, who stood there with a twisted and
sinister look on her face.
Avery was working in the office when she received an urgent call from Gigi.
Upon learning that something had happened to Alina, she hastily asked Trevor for leave, informed Cayden, and
then rushed over to the hospital.
She really disliked going to the hospital because of the depressing atmosphere there.
The strong smell of disinfectant in the ward only added to the discomfort.
However, the person in the hospital was her aunt.
Even though they weren't related by blood, their relationship was as close as that of an aunt and her niece, so
Avery didn't want anything bad to happen to her.
When Avery arrived at the hospital, a group of people were seen praying on a lush green lawn.
The priest, clad in a voluminous black robe, was surrounded by a group of people, who appeared to be a patient's
relatives.
They appeared sorrowful and solemn as they prayed in broad daylight.
The cross on the priest's chest shimmered brilliantly in the sun, as he said in a compassionate and gentle voice, “To
our creator, you are the source of all life. We ask you to bless those who are ill. May they face their afflictions with
hope and faith. Please grant them the strength to endure their suffering.”
That reminded Avery of Gigi's description of her aunt's current health condition. As she listened to the priest's
prayer, she suddenly felt an overwhelming urge to shed tears.
Aunt Alina is Grandpa's only direct kin right now. I cannot, absolutely cannot, let anything happen to her, no matter
what!
Meanwhile, in the spacious and bright ward.
As it was a private hospital for the upper class, it was only natural that the services and facilities were top-notch.
Although a little dazzling, the warm sunlight streaming through the window onto the hospital bed made the ward
appear bright and clear.
When Avery entered the ward, she saw Gigi, who was clad in a white lab coat, earnestly telling Alina something

However, Alina was clearly uncooperative and maintained an extremely stubborn attitude. She completely ignored
what Gigi was telling her, leaving Gigi feeling helpless.
“Aunt Alina?” Avery called out to her softly.
She could hardly believe how different Alina looked even though it had only been two months since she last saw her.
Alina, who had always presented herself as a radiant and dazzling woman, now appeared listless and haggard. It
was as though she had suddenly aged ten years overnight.
Gigi waved at Avery, sighing as she said, “I'm glad you're here, Avery. Please try to talk some sense into your aunt.
Given the current state of her health, she really can't afford to delay this any further. She must undergo surgery, or
the speed at which her tumor worsens will increase, and that could put her life in danger. We agreed that she would
undergo surgery as soon as she returned from Jetroina, but she suddenly changed her mind and refused the
surgery no matter what. I tried persuading her, but I just can't seem to get through to her. Anyway, just ring the bell
by the bed if you need anything, and I'll come right over.”
“Got it. Thank you, Gigi,” Avery replied gratefully.
“All right; your aunt is now in your hands,” Gigi said and looked at Alina with a touch of sympathy before leaving the
two alone in the ward.
After Gigi had left, Avery noticed that the lighting in the ward was a little too bright to be comfortable. She then
walked up to the window and drew the curtains slightly before making her way over to Alina.
“Aunt Alina, why have you changed your mind about the surgery that you had previously promised to undergo?”
she asked with concern written all over her face.
Avery knew that her aunt had always been particular about her appearance and couldn't bear the thought of her
perfect body becoming flawed.
However, if a disease threatened a person's life, then surgery would become a must no matter how reluctant the
person was.
