Chapter 22
Chapter 99.
Nelly’s POV
“Nelly, step out.” he said, his voice firm but kind.
I took a deep breath, my heart racing, my palms clammy. I opened the door and stepped out of the car,
the sun shining brightly in my eyes. I looked around, my heart dropping to my stomach.
We were at the same place Alpha Kex had wiped me 50 strokes. I felt my knees go weak as the
memories came flooding back. I didn’t know what to do, what to say. I was completely lost.
“Move, Nelly,” Alpha Kex’s voice was firm and unyielding.
I had no choice but to follow his command. I took a deep breath and began to walk behind him, my legs
heavy and my feet like lead. I felt sick to my stomach, my mind racing, my heart pounding in my chest.
“Please, Alpha,” I said, my voice cracking. “I didn’t do anything to Emily. I swear. You saw it She was
the one who tried to hit me.”
Alpha Kex turned to face me, his expression unreadable, I held my breath.
“You know how much I dislike it when people talk without being asked a question,” he said, his tone
stern and authoritative.
I swallowed hard. Tmsorry, Alpha,” I stammered, my words coming out in a jumble. “I didn’t mean to.” I
trailed off, not sure what to say.
Alpha Kex’s eyes bore into me, piercing me to my core. “Get a hold of yourself.”
“Yes, Alpha,” I bowed down In Front of him.
We walked in silence towards the door, my heart pounding in my chest, my palms sweating. I clenched
my fists, my fingernails digging into the flesh of my palms.
I was certain that Emily must have said something to Alpha Kex, something that had made him want to
hurt me. But what could it have been? I racked my brain, trying to think of anything that could have set
him off. But I came up empty.
The door opened, and I found myself standing on the threshold. Alpha Kex turned to

face me, his expression hard and unyielding.
“I don’t have time for games, Nelly,” he said, his tone cold and unforgiving.
I tried to protest, my voice cracking as I pleaded with him. “Please, Alpha,” I begged, but my pleas fell
on deaf ears.
He turned away from me, his back rigid and unyielding. “You are wasting my time,” he said, his words
slicing through me like a knife. I felt a lump forming in my throat, my eyes stinging with tears.
I entered the room, the light flicking on above me. I had expected to see a room filled with wolf and
human heads mounted on the walls, but to my surprise, the floor was spotless. There was not a trace
of blood or gore in sight. The room was empty.
“Take it,” Alpha Kex said, his voice calm and steady.
I looked up at him, my hands shakin
as I took the handcuffs from him. I held them
out in front of me, my eyes wide with confusion and fear.
“What do I do with this, Alpha Kex?” I asked, my voice barely above a whisper.
“Handcuff me,” he said, his tone brooking no argument. I felt the blood drain from my face, my breath
coming in short, shallow gasps.
“No,” I said, my voice barely audible. “I won’t do it.”
“I’m the one who gives the orders here, Nelly,” Alpha Kex roared, his eyes flashing with anger. “Do as I
say!”
His voice was like a whip, cracking through the air and slicing into me. I nodded, unable to find my
voice. I fumbled with the handcuffs, my hands shaking. I climbed onto a chair and reached up to fasten
the cuffs around his wrists. He stared at me, his expression unreadable.
“Good,” he muttered, his voice low and deep. I dropped my gaze, my heart pounding in my chest. What
was happening? What did he want?
“Take the cam belt,” he commanded, his voice brusque and impatient.
I glanced at the belt, which lay a few feet away from him, and steeled myself to do as he asked. But as
I reached out to take it.
“Wipe me now,” he commanded.

“I’m sorry, Alpha,” I said, my voice shaking. “But I can’t do that. It’s against my norms.”
His face darkened, and he regarded me with a steely gaze. “What do you mean?” he asked, his voice
low and dangerous.
“I wasn’t trained to hit an Alpha,” I explained, my voice trembling. “It’s not part of my
norms.”
He stared at me, unblinking, the tension in the air palpable. “And what if the Alpha is paying for his
sins?” he asked, his voice barely above a whisper.
I felt a lump forming in my throat, my mind racing. “Then let the culprit punish the Alpha, not me,” I said,
my words coming out in a rush.
A moment of silence hung in the air, and then he spoke again. “And what if you are the culprit?”
My breath caught in my throat as his words sunk in. My heart was hammering in my chest, and my
stomach felt like it was filled with lead.
“You… you want me to hit you?” I asked, my voice quivering.
He nodded, his eyes boring into me. “I hit you when you were innocent,” he said, his voice low and
pained. “Now I want to pay for my sins.”
I took a step back, shaking my head. “No, please,” I pleaded. “I can’t do that. I’m can’t, as a matter of
fact, I have forgiven you.”

Suddenly, a deep, chilling laugh erupted from him. “As an Alpha, we do not accept forgiveness so
easily,” he said, his eyes glinting with amusement. “We want to be in the same position as the one who
we have wronged to know how extreme we have hurt them.”
His words sent a shiver down my spine. I stood my ground, meeting his gaze with a sly smile.
“If I must punish you for your sins,” I said, “then I must also punish the cause of those
sins.”
My words hung in the air, and he co cked his head to one side, his expression unreadable.
“What do you mean?” he asked, his brow furrowing confused.
“Bring Emily,” I said, my voice firm.

“Don’t be in a haste, I am not through,” he said, his voice low and steady.
I froze, my heart hammering in my chest. “What do you mean?” I asked, my voice shaking slightly.
