Chapter 201
Russel knew this area like the back of his hand, and he smoothly led me to an Italian-style restaurant.
The restaurant had a classy vibe, it was perfect for a date.
After we sat down, my curiosity piqued, so I asked, “How did you know about this place?”
Normally, Russel didn’t seem like the type to frequent such places, and most of the current customers
were couples.
Russel chuckled, “A colleague invited me here for dinner; I thought it was a group thing, so I came.”
“Ah, I see. So, you found out it was just her waiting for you, right? I think I can guess who it was.’ I
replied with a grin, The pretty nurse, right?”
Russel arched an eyebrow, “Your guess is a bit vague, we’ve got a lot of nurses at our hospital.”
Was he trying to show off his many admirers to me?
We had a great chat. After a few dates with Russel, I found out that he was actually the type who
seemed cold on the outside but was passionate on the inside. Otherwise, he wouldn’t have cared about
my marriage with Neil before.
If he was also aloof privately, then I might have found it a bit difficult to get along with him.
Suddenly, a man and a woman entered the restaurant, causing the smile on my face to fade.
Bonnie, arm in arm with Neil and a happy smile on her face, froze when she saw me
“Should we switch restaurants?’ Russel asked in a low voice after spotting Neil and Bonnie.
Before he could finish speaking, Bonnie, arm in arm with Neil, sat down at the table next to ours.

Russel nodded. Our previous cheerful atmosphere vanished with the arrival of Neil and Bonnie.
Bonnie started ordering, while Neil remained silent, not voicing any opinions.
“Neil, what do you want to eat?” Bonnie’s voice was pleasing.
‘Anything is fine, as long as you like it. Neil’s voice was indifferent, but at least he gave a response, and
it was quite accommodating.
Bonnie didn’t mind Neil’s indifference; she skillfully ordered Neil’s favorite dishes, which surprised me.
Did she know Neil that well? I always thought I was the woman who knew Neil best; after all, I knew
him for ten years.
“What’s wrong? Don’t you like the dishes? Russel noticed I wasn’t eating much and gently asked.
“I don’t like the red pepper in it. I glanced at the squid pasta on the plate and casually replied.
Russel gave me a loving look, then painstakingly picked out the red peppers from my untouched pasta.
He often performed surgeries, so his hands were steady, his nails were clean, and his handling of the
cutlery was very elegant.
After he picked out the red peppers, he pushed his plate of squid pasta toward me and took mine.
“No, I’ve already eaten from that one!’ I quickly stopped him.
“It’s fine.” Russel didn’t seem to mind; he took a few bites and didn’t show any signs of disgust.
I felt a little embarrassed; in fact, I didn’t really dislike red peppers; it was just an excuse.
Since he didn’t mind that I had eaten from it, how could I refuse his thoughtful care? I lowered my head
and ate the squid pasta when I suddenly heard Bonnie next to me say, “I just had a manicure. I want to
eat shrimp, but I can’t peel the shell”
Neil’s voice sounded a few seconds later, but it was gentler than before, “I’ll peel it for you, you just
have to eat.”
I sneaked a peek and saw Neil picking up a shrimp, carefully peeling the shell.
He looked very focused; from the side, his nose was high, and there was not a shred of excess flesh
from his jawline to his neck. It was very firm and perfect. I remember he was once rated by the media
as having the most perfect side profile, on par with top-tier male stars.
“Don’t sneak peeks at other men when I’m around. Russel noticed that I was distracted, so he lightly
tapped the table and sternly reprimanded me. Nerd heard his voice, and he glanced at us.
I had no choice but to sit up straight. I smiled at Russel and didn’t look at Nell anymore.
“What? You got ketchup all over your mouth? Silly girl. Neil’s pampering volce came from the next
table, filled with laughter.
I didn’t want to look, but they were so close that I could still see him raising his hand to wipe Bonnie’s
mouth.
Bonnie looked very happy, “I’m really hungry, so I ate very fast. Will you dislike me?”
“Of course not, how could I dislike you?’ Neil said with a smile.
“I knew you were the best, I love you’ Bonnie’s voice rose, as if intentionally letting me hear.
I pretended not to hear. I forked a piece of well-cut steak and fed it to Russel, “This steak is really good.
Want to try?”
Russel looked at me meaningfully His eyes showed that he knew what I was trying to do, but he still
dutifully accepted my steak, tested it carefully, and then praised it, “It’s indeed very good. If you like it,
we can come here again next time.

Chapter 201
Neil heard what I said, and he shot me a cold look. I felt it but chose to ignore it.
“Neil, are you unhappy? If you are, we can change places. Bonnie seemed to have noticed that Neil
had been looking at me, so she couldn’t help but ask.
“No need, it’s fine here” Neil’s voice suddenly became cold, a stark contrast to before.
Bonnie glared at me unhappily, and I glared back at her disdainfully curling my lips.
“Alright, as long as you’re okay with it Bonnie yielded, but I could hear her dissatisfaction.
When she was unhappy, I was happy.
I finished the last bit of food, then gracefully wiped my mouth and whispered to Russel, “Dr. Russel, you
should get back to work now. You can’t be late because of me.”
BANG!
Before Russel could respond, a loud noise came from the table next to us. It was the sound of Neil
putting down his cutlery.
His face was very gloomy, as if the cutlery had greatly offended him. He put down the cutlery and then
threw it into the trash can.
Bonnie sat across from him, her face pale.
She bit her lip hard as her eyes glistened with tears.
“Alright, as you wish. But before that, I have to take you home.” Russel said softly.
“Alright, let’s hit the road, I stood up, ignoring Neils sour face.
His jealousy and possessiveness were acting up, but that wasn’t my problem anymore. We were done
and dusted. He had Bonnie, and I had Russel.
