They stood at the top of the whole Whirling World.
They were basically children of the heavens. They had the best of resources and talents that others could only
dream about.
Those people were unbelievably rare. There were millions who entered the Whirling World, but only a few dozen
stood at the peak.
They were not people who could be found commonly, let alone have anyone familiar enough with them to ask for
help. If Lourain had been able to befriend an above-average warrior, it would have been something to be proud of,
let alone a warrior at the peak.

bother sparing others their attention or glances!
Jack paid no attention to the change in attitude around him at all. His eyes were focused right on Yeagen.
At that moment, Yeagen's body was completely frozen. It was as if he had been bound by some sort of spell as he
stood there, dumbfounded. His hand was bleeding, but he did not care.
When he noticed that Jack was looking at him, Yeagen's whole body shuddered.
When surprises happened, those who were involved could often not react, but after the surprise, it was easy to
quickly notice the details.
For instance, Jack's technique from earlier had been incredibly familiar. It was just that things had happened too
quickly for him to pay any attention to it.
At that moment, he finally had the time to think about it.
Yeagen gulped subconsciously. His breathing got quicker as his face turned pale.
His lips were very dry as well when he opened his mouth, saying with a hoarse voice, "You're Jack!"
The name was said with a complete sense of disbelief and hopelessness.
He never expected that he would meet Jack, even though he heard the name so much recently it was getting
annoying, especially from Triton.
Each time Triton spoke about Jack, it was through clenched teeth. Yeagen never expected that he would be able to
meet Jack in such a situation. He had even laughably exposed himself and said where he was from.
Was that not just suicidal?
They even said that Triton would never forgive Jack.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmJust thinking about it caused Yeagen to be full of fear. He could not help but shudder. After all, Jack was someone
even Triton would be wary of.
Yeagan raised his hands into the air, "Let me go! I'm no one important. Even if you kill me, you won't feel a sense of
accomplishment. It's pointless!"
He was still young, and it had taken him a lot of hard work to get to where he was. He did not want to die just like
that. Death was hard to bear for him.
Lourain could not help but say, "You're finally begging for mercy? Isn't it a bit too late? There should have been
many other warriors who've begged you for mercy. Why didn't you let them go?!"
Looking at his fellow disciples who were all tied up, Lourain got even more furious.
That guy had the gall to ask for mercy. When he took the lives of others, he acted so high and mighty.
Jack shot Lourain a look, "Go let your fellow disciples go. We can talk about everything else later."
