A wave of shame and anger washed over Millie, causing her to impulsively push all the dishes off the
table, shattering them on the floor.

Karina furrowed her brow and inquired, “What happened? Who bullied her?”
“It’s all because of Sanford.” Rosalynn recounted the events between Maggie and Sanford.
Karina smirked and remarked, “Women fighting over men, it’s a common tale, and most men won’t
bother getting involved in such matters.”
