Chapter 1749
As soon as Keegan picked it up, Stella snatched it from him and swallowed one.
Keegan's lips twitched. Then, he got up and handed her a glass of water from the table.
This time, Stella did not reject it. After taking the medicine, she lay down on the bed.
Keegan was about to go downstairs to call for help when Stella said with her eyes closed, "I'll jump out of the
window if you dare leave this room."
Keegan froze, "I think you need to go to the hospital."
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtStella ignored him. She stared at the ceiling and said, after a long pause, "Keegan Kane, let me ask you again. Are
you sure you want to cut ties with me?"
Keegan curled his fingers slightly as he shifted his gaze away from her face. "I don't remember who you are," he
said.
Stella remained silent for a long time before she said coldly, "Get lost then. You can do whatever you want now."
Her voice carried no emotion at all. From the moment he regained consciousness, that was the first time Stella had
spoken to him in such a tone.
Keegan clenched his fists tight as his lips twitched. After a long silence, he said, "Have a good rest."
After saying those words, he turned around, walked out of the room, and quietly closed the door.
When Stella could no longer hear the footsteps from outside, she sat up from the bed. In an instant, her sickly
appearance vanished.
She walked to the French window, and in a short while, she saw Keegan walking out of the house. Jaylene followed
closely behind him, seemingly telling him something.
Keegan did not stop walking at all until he got into his car. She could vaguely feel someone staring in her direction,
but the feeling quickly disappeared.
Stella watched the Mercedes that Keegan often drove leaving. She stood by the window for a while, took out her
phone, and dialed a number, "Hello, I'd like to make an appointment for an abortion..."
Shortly after she ended the call, someone knocked on the door.

Jaylene stood outside with her brows furrowed. Then, she questioned her in a displeased tone, "Stella, what exactly
did you say to Keegan? Why did he leave right after he came downstairs without even changing his clothes?"
Stella looked at her indifferently, "Why don't you ask him if you want to know? He trusts you a lot now, doesn't he?"
Her words caught Jaylene off guard. Her expression turned somewhat ugly.
Stella thought, 'If Jaylene openly told me that she likes Keegan and wants to compete with me fairly, I'd still show
her some respect.'
However, Jaylene did not dare to do that at all. Because of Keegan and Stella's engagement and her past, no
matter how much she was in love with Keegan, she dared not express her true feelings.
