Chapter 1165
When Stella heard that Hylda was the one who had booked the venue, she felt it made sense.
Having been Albert's mistress for so many years, Hylda had kept a low-profile. Now, as his lawful wife, it seemed
only fitting to make her wedding a lavish affair.
Olivia grumbled, “During their rehearsal yesterday, Hylda had so many requirements for the setup. Especially with
that gazebo, she kept inspecting it repeatedly. It's just a bunch of balloons; I don't understand what's so special
about it."
'Gazebo?' Stella thought, 'It must be the one used during Lancelot Lewie's performance. It isn't even situated at the
center of the venue. What makes it so special?'
Olivia was too sensitive when the topic of a mistress transitioning into an official wife arose. After expressing her
frustration, she couldn't help but say, "Men are despicable. They don't appreciate the ones who treat them well and
save them money. They fall head over heels for women who spend their money recklessly. I've come to realize
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtnow, if you have money, spend it on yourself and your children. If you try to save it for your husband, not only will
he not appreciate it, but that money will end up in another woman's pocket. She'll indulge herself with luxurious
dresses and handbags!"
Having shared her thoughts, Olivia offered some advice to Stella, saying, "You should be wise. Hold on tightly to
Keegan's wallet. It's more valuable than holding onto him. He's handsome, which increases the likelihood of him
being unfaithful."
Stella took screenshots of several transaction records showing Keegan transferring money to her and sent them to
Olivia, proudly boasting, "He usually takes the initiative to give me an allowance."
Olivia immediately had the urge to block Stella.
Stella continued her bragging, saying, "When looking for a husband, it's better to find someone handsome. If he
cheats, at least he’s a good-looking man who cheats, rather than an ugly one."
Olivia was left speechless by the taunt. 'Isn't she mocking me?' she thought.
Olivia's husband, Erick Chapman, was far from goodlooking. In her younger days, Olivia had suitors who were
handsome and from good family backgrounds. However, at that time, she was influenced by someone and believed
that a man who looked honest would be loyal to marriage. She stubbornly insisted on marrying him, even causing a
rift with her family.
Even when Erick knelt before Olivia, begging for forgiveness after his infidelity, she genuinely believed he had been
seduced by another woman. She even feared her family would find out and assisted him in concealing his actions.
Yet, he continued to cheat repeatedly.
Olivia realized that she had been blind to find Erick's appearance appealing back then. Now that she was thinking
clearly, even a glimpse of his face filled her with disgust.
Olivia silently acknowledged to herself, 'Stella does have a point.'
"Olivia, are you at Dragon Lagoon now?" Stella suddenly called out to Olivia with a touch of affection. Olivia knew
that Stella must have a request because in the past, Stella would only address her as Mrs. Chapman or Ms. Warren.
"I'm on my way there. What's up?" Olivia replied.
Stella thought for a moment and said, "Could you carefully inspect the gazebo for me and see if there's anything

Olivia responded, "It's Hylda's own wedding, and she wants it to be grand. She'll definitely inspect it more
thoroughly than any of us."
"Please, just do it for me," Stella persisted, sensing something odd about Hylda's excessive focus on that area.
"Alright, I'll take another look for you."
"Thank you, Ms. Warren," Stella expressed her gratitude.
Olivia was left speechless by Stella's change in address.
It was Albert and Hylda's wedding day.
As Keegan emerged wearing a well-tailored suit, Stella stood downstairs, clutching a curling iron and styling her
hair.
She was wearing a dark green, body-hugging maxi dress, paired with a vintage-inspired makeup look. She was
stunning in this look, but it didn't quite match her age, especially with her curled hair that resembled the hairstyle of
a 90s celebrity.
Keegan surveyed her from head to toe as he stood beside her. He was uncertain of what to say.
Observing his reaction in the mirror, Stella posed a question while continuing to style her hair, "Don't you think I
look good?"
Keegan shook his head and replied, "You look fantastic."
