Chapter 474
Emerson’s examination was detailed, and he informed Brandon to get the results two days later.
For the rest of the time, Brandon knew that
Savanna was afraid of her and did not dare to stay with her directly. Instead, he waited quietly at the door like a
guardian.
Brandon had just entered the elevator and went upstairs to get a diagnosis report from the psychiatric department.
At that time, the elevator door next to him suddenly opened.
A tall man in a black jacket, holding the hand
of a little boy who was as tall as the man’s waist, walked out of the elevator.
“Dad, which ward does Savanna live in?” The child looked left and right anxiously. “How is Savanna? Will something
happen to her?”
“Mandel, don’t be so nervous. You will know it soon when you go and take a look at her.”
There was a bouquet of flowers in the other hand of the man. A card was embedded in the elegant flowers, and on
it was written some greetings.
Tyrell stared at the door of a ward and murmured the ward number, “Room 308.
That’s it.”
“Knock on the door,” Tyrell commanded Mandel.
Mandel knocked on the door heavily. After suffering a lot, Savanna was frightened.
Hearing someone knocking on the door heavily, she naturally got scared.
She nestled on the bed in the ward, not daring to breathe.
“Savanna, I’m Mandel. I’m here to see you.”
Hearing Mandel’s voice, Savanna finally felt relieved.
It turned out that Brandon had not returned.
“The door is not locked. Come in,” Savanna answered.
The next second, the door was pushed open. Mandel rushed in joyfully.
Mandel had a smile on his face. His carefree appearance was very infectious.
Savanna’s tense spirit also relaxed. Mandel climbed onto the bed, his chubby face sticking to her hand.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇt“Savanna, what happened to you? Are you in bad health? Why are you always in the hospital?”
Actually, after Mandel reunited with his biological father, Mandel and Savanna always met in the hospital.
Savanna rubbed Mandel’s round head. “So take good care of yourself. Don’t be like me, sick all day.”
As she spoke, she suddenly looked up at Tyrell. “How did you know that I was in the hospital?”
“Mandel said that he missed you. Luckily, I was not busy with my work in the shop, so I said that I would bring him
to see you,
Tyrell said, “However, I visited you but found no one in your house. I asked Lizeth, then I learned that you were in
the hospital.”
Savanna finally figured it out. “I see.”
She wasn’t sure how much Tyrell knew about the reason for her hospitalization, so she didn’t mention it.
This wasn’t something glorious, and it wasn’t worth telling.
“Since I know you are in the hospital, I came to see you.”
Tyrell was a kind person. He did not ask for the reason and only instructed, “Have a good rest. I am sure you will
recover soon.”
Savanna nodded and thanked Tyrell, but there was bitterness in her heart. If she stayed like this, she would be so
nervous every day, and she would go crazy one day.
“By the way, have you heard of that thing?” Tyrell suddenly asked.
Hearing that there was gossip, Savanna was instantly interested, “What is it?”
“Winnie is dead,” Tyrell said.
Savanna was shocked, and her pupils. suddenly widened. “When did this happen?”
“Just a few days ago.”
Winnie had died at least half a month ago, but Tyrell had heard of it too late and thought she died several days
ago.
Savanna was misguided. “A few days ago?
No wonder…”
She smiled bleakly.
“No wonder what?” Tyrell asked.
The smile on Savanna’s face grew wider.
That self-mocking and pathetic smile made people feel that she was pitiful.
Savanna wondered, no wonder Brandon suddenly lost self-control. It turns out that his beloved one has died, which
is why he could not control his temper, so he vented his anger at me.
I naively thought that the reason why Brandon reacted so strongly was that he didn’t want to divorce me.
I am so silly.
“By the way, there is also a rumor that the dead Winnie was a fake. She was also a fake after plastic surgery, like
me.”
However, Savanna did not hear his words.
She was immersed in pain, and she thought that the reason for Brandon’s madness was that it was too painful to
learn of Winnie’s death, and he urgently needed to vent.
And she, who was bent on getting a divorce, had become the unlucky one who had been vented.
“Ms. Thompson? Ms. Thompson, have you heard me?”
Savanna only came back to her senses when she heard the shouts. She raised her hand and wiped the tears from
the corners of her eyes.
“Sorry, I was distracted just now.”
“Are you too tired and need to rest?” Tyrell asked kindly. “I know the patient tends to be tired and needs more
rest.”
Savanna was indeed a little lost in her thoughts. With what she had just learned, she almost lost control of her
emotions.
Savanna did not want to show her fragile. look in front of Mandel, so she nodded. “I’m indeed a little tired and want
to rest for a while.”
When Tyrell heard this, he immediately picked up Mandel and said, “Say goodbye to Ms. Thompson. We’ll leave
now. We’ll come to see her again later.”
Mandel was obviously reluctant to part with
Savanna. His small hands and feet were struggling, and his calves were raised high.
“I don’t want to leave. I haven’t played enough!”
“You can come back another day. Now your should wait for Ms. Thompson to get well.”
Tyrell was determined.
Mandel thought for a moment and felt that recuperating was more important, so he compromised. “Savanna, I’ll
leave now. You should take a good rest, and I’ll come to see you another day.”

Mandel showed a wide smile. “Don’t worry, I will definitely do it.”
Tyrell carried Mandel out of the ward.
Just as Tyrell stepped out, he saw Brandon. Brandon was sitting far away on the other side of the corridor, and
there seemed to be a person standing behind Brandon.
Tyrell found it a bit strange. Why didn’t
Brandon stay with Savanna in the ward? Why did he run so far to peek?
Was there something fishy about Savanna being in the hospital?
In the distance, Brandon seemed to have seen Tyrell, too. Unusually, Brandon did not come over to provoke.
Instead, he turned around and left.
The person behind Brandon followed
Brandon and left.
Actually, the man wasn’t following Brandon.
He was pushing Brandon away.
Tyrell was very surprised. Tyrell did not. understand why Brandon had been pushed away in a wheelchair. He was
not disabled.
Out of curiosity, Tyrell quickly followed. Brandon, holding the child in his arms. Tyrell tried to find out what was going
on.
Unfortunately, the distance was already far, and they were clearly on guard. Tyrell lost them after chasing two
floors.
“Dad, what are you looking for?” Mandel asked curiously.
Tyrell answered, “We are looking for…”
“Daddy!” Mandel cried out excitedly.
It turned out that they had unknowingly arrived at the psychiatric department and happened to meet Brandon, who
came out with the results of the examination.
Hearing someone calling him, Brandon subconsciously put away the results of the examination.
“Why are you here?” Brandon asked when he saw Tyrell and Mandel.
“We followed you here,” Tyrell said with a strange look.
Brandon put on a sullen look. His expression changed. “What are you talking about? I just came out of the doctor’s
office.”
