“Savanna!”

Brandon rushed forward. He picked her up and then rushed out of the room.

“I’ll take you to the hospital.”

Savanna was lying in Brandon’s arms, and her feet were still bleeding. But the pain in her skin could not be

compared to the pain in her heart.

They were both in a bad mood. Brandon was probably too anxious. He was especially impetuous as he drove,

charging around the entire way.

Savanna felt that he had put all his anger on the accelerator, but she did not say anything. An evil thought even

rose in her heart. If something bad really happened, then they would die together

It was better than both of them living, torturing each other, and suffering.

They arrived at the hospital. Rex was on duty.

Seeing Savanna being carried in, Rex nervously stood up from the stool. “Savanna, what’s wrong with you?”

Brandon seemed to be crazy. He hugged Savanna tightly and searched around.

“Don’t touch her. Call a female doctor over.”

“There is no female doctor. I am the only doctor on duty today.” Rex didn’t want to listen to Brandon.

Brandon pointed at a nurse and said, “Come over and help her disinfect and bandage the wounds.”

The nurse was frightened by Brandon’s gaze and jogged over. “What’s wrong with this lady?”

Only then did Savanna be put down. When the nurse saw the wound on her foot, the nurse immediately brought

over disinfecting tools.

As soon as the alcohol was poured over, Savanna groaned in pain.

Brandon’s face immediately darkened as he shouted, “Be gentle. If you don’t know how to bandage

her wounds, then ask another person to do it.”

The nurse was so scared that her eyes filled with tears. She held the cotton stick and did not dare to act rashly.

Fortunately, Savanna was very considerate. She whispered to the nurse, “Don’t worry. I can bear with it. Just do

what you need to do.”

Seeing this, Rex immediately stepped forward and stood face-to-face with Brandon.

“What’s going on? What happened in the middle of the night?”

Brandon looked at Rex coldly and said in a terrible tone, “What does the matter between me and Savanna have to

do with you?”

“Did you quarrel?” Rex speculated. “Did you smash the vase and make her injured?”

“What has it got to do with you?” The anger in Brandon’s eyes did not dissipate. He even felt an unknown anger

running around in his body.

He didn’t know how to let out his anger, so he was very irritated and wanted to find some help.

“Get lost.” Brandon suddenly roared.

The nurse was using tweezers to get the glass fragments for Savanna. The nurse was frightened by Brandon’s

shout. Her hand shook and poked the glass fragments inside.

Savanna cried out in pain. She frowned.

Brandon turned around once again. He showed a poker face. He kicked over the disinfectants placed by the nurse’s

feet.

“What’s wrong with you? How can you be a nurse? If you can’t do it, then scram!”

The nurse cried out in fear, and the things in her hands fell to the ground.

“Go to the side and rest. I’ll do it.” Rex came over and squatted down, holding Savanna’s foot with one hand and

taking a clean tweezer.

“Bear with it. It might hurt a little.”

Savanna nodded and said gently, “It’s fine. I can endure it.”

It was just a small wound. It was nothing compared to the pain in her heart. She felt heartbroken.

Brandon stared at Savanna who was being held by the foot. He became angrier. He clenched his

fist and tried hard not to punch the wall.

Rex was much more experienced than the nurse. In less than two minutes, he finished disinfecting

and applying the medicine to his wound. Finally, Rex took a roll of gauze and carefully wrapped the wound.

“The wound is not serious. But you should try not to wash your feet for the next few days. Be careful of infection.”

After wrapping the gauze, Savanna could wear her shoes. So she put her feet on the shoe.

“Dr. Barton, thank you.

“You’re welcome.” Rex smiled from the bottom of his heart.

The exhaustion from the night shift immediately vanished the moment he saw Savanna.

But seeing that she was unhappy, Rex also felt upset.

Brandon saw the two of them looking at each other. He was irritated. After all, he was already angry.

“Savanna, let’s go home.” He walked forward, wanting to pick Savanna up again.

Savanna rejected him, saying, “I don’t want to go back with you.”

“Why?” Brandon clenched his fists.

Rex interrupted, “With your current condition, it is indeed not suitable for you to go home directly. Our hospital

provides a 24-hour psychological inquiry service. Brandon, I suggest you go and see.”

“You are the one who is sick!” Brandon couldn’t control himself anymore and threw a punch at Rex.

Fortunately, Rex dodged. The punch hit the shelf of the emergency room, and the first-aid drugs and disposable

utensils were scattered all over the ground.

Savanna was frightened and tried to comfort him, “Brandon, calm down. We’re in the hospital.”

Rex endured his anger and took two steps back. It did not matter if they were outside. Now that he was on his duty,

it was really not suitable to fight in the hospital.

“I’m serious. Your state is not right. You really should go see a psychiatrist.”

As far as he knew, Brandon had depression in the past. Generally, depression could not be cured

forever, and it was very likely to be accompanied by anxiety and mania.

Brandon was in a similar state.

However, Brandon did not admit it himself. At least, he disdained to admit his symptoms in front of his love rival.

“I’m not sick. Stop talking nonsense here.”

Brandon turned around and looked at Savanna. “Come home with me. Let’s go home first. Then we can have a

good talk.”

“Dr. Barton, I want to stay in the hospital,” Savanna asked. “Can you help me with it?”

In this situation, Savanna felt that they had to separate and calm down. If she went back with Brandon, something

bad might happen.

Besides, her foot was injured. If she went back like this, her children and Lizeth would be worried.

“You don’t need to…” Rex paused. Then he added, “Are two days enough for you?”

Savanna nodded and said, “Thank you, Dr. Barton.”

At this time, Brandon got angrier as he heard Savanna and Rex talking with each other.

“Why won’t you go home with me?”

Savanna got straight to the point and said, “Because we need to calm down. My feet are injured. Can you

guarantee that you won’t do anything to me after we go back?”

Brandon was silent. He was indeed unable to make a promise.

“Then I’ll stay with you in the hospital,” Brandon said after a while.

“No need.”

Savanna was resolute. She did not even let Brandon help her. She walked to the ward by herself.

“Don’t touch me.” Brandon tried to help her again and again, but he was refused by her.

After arriving at the ward, Savanna walked in and closed the door.

Brandon, who was following closely behind, felt disappointed.

He reached out to press the door handle.

With a click, the door was locked from the inside.

“Go back.” Savanna’s voice came from inside. “I will talk to you later.”
