"Why are you staring atlike that? Hurry up, I'm dying of thirst here!"
York resigned himself to his fate and got up.
After gulping down a glass of ice water, Leda finally felt revived.
"Did you need something from me? Sorry for making you wait so long... it's kinda embarrassing."
While York was in the kitchen refilling the pitcher, Leda had already gotten dressed and even checked the time.
Oh boy, it was already 11 o'clock!
"Embarrassed? You, Ms. Reynolds, feel embarrassed? | think you're quite proud of yourself!"
He was like a balloon pricked with a pin, barely holding it together before, but now all his pent-up emotions burst
forth.
"And you have the nerve to bossaround to get you water? You think you're all that, why don't you just fly to
the moon then?"
He muttered a curse under his breath after his rant.
Leda frowned. "Did you wake up on the wrong side of the bed? Why the temper?"
"Aren't you going to explain the guy from this morning?"

Leda looked puzzled. "What's there to explain? Do you explain yourself every tyou're with another woman?"
He was taken aback. "But... | mean, we're dating now, right? Doing this, where does it leave my dignity?"
Leda's gaze grew even more perplexed. "Correction: fake boyfriend, thank you. Besides, it's not like | did
anything with anyone else in front of others. How does it affect your dignity?" "We agreed on certain terms
before this partnership, right? To each their own?"
"I've followed the contract to the letter, haven't I? What's your deal?"
York was speechless, utterly defeated by her logic. It was so frustrating!
Leda looked around the room. "By the way, you've got a nice hotel here. Keep this room for me, will you? I'll be
back."
"I" She's planning a next time?!
"Oh, and could you call the front desk for me? Have them prepare another key card."
"For what?"
"One forand one for guests, obviously!"
She really wondered if he had drunk his brain dumb the night before.
York snorted, "Am | your ancestor, or do | owe you from a past life? No way!"
With that, he stormed out.
Leda watched his angry departure, completely baffled.
After a moment, she uttered two words-
"Unbelievable!"
York returned to his room, slamming
the door behind him, though it
make much of a sound.

He first called the front desk: "Suite 1901, do not issue an extra key card, got it?!"
Then he called the manager: "Send up ten women!"
The manager was shocked.
"Ten?!"
Daisy, regretting missing out the day before, immediately volunteered, "I'm on it!"
The manager acted quickly, and in less than twenty minutes, he arrived

at the top floor with a group of bet
chattering women, knocking on York's door.
"Sir, they're all here."
York looked over, raising his voice, "Are there ten of them?!"
"Yes, sir, definitely." The manager raised his voice as well. "Good! Let them in—"
The women sauntered in, their laughter filling the room.
Knowing his place, the manager discreetly left.
As he walked away, he pulled out his phone to contact the front desk:
"The guest in Suite 1901 checked tin out? Since the sir personally ordered it to be kept on hold, add it to the
long-term stay list for now, no charge yet; we'll settle it later..."
"What did you say?"
"Sir?!" The manager was taken aback as York caught up to him.
"What about Suite 19017"
The manager replied, "Keeping it on hold, on your account..." "The first part."
