Elsa’s eyes lit up at those words, but she said nothing

Benny said he had been scammed into joining Benny’s gambling circle, losing a great deal of money
and being forced to borrow money from loan sharks. He had even been forced to give up his company.
That was a classic death trap.
However, Benny had no proot that could be submitted. The investigation was called off, and there was
nothing Elsa could do.
If Wilbur was able to get any sort of evidence, she would be able to reopen the case. Her superior
would have no excuse to stop her then, and there might be a breakthrough in the case.
At the thought, Elsa said at once, “Where are you? You should make a trip to the station, and I’ll put a
wire on you. That’ll guarantee your safety, and we’ll get the proof too.”
“Kenji Lilith’s not an idiot, Chief Janar. There’s no way a wire will work. If he finds it, I’ll lose my

Elsa fell silent, before asking, “What are you planning to do, then?
“How about this? You show up at Black Dragon Bar tomorrow at 6 am, with a team, and just do a
sweep of the place,” Wilbur
said.
Elsa asked, “Aren’t you worried you might get into trouble? The proof might all be gone by the time we
get in there and him.”
Wilbur chuckled, “Don’t worry about that. I’ll keep things under control and make sure no one leaves.
You just need to worry about getting your guy.”
“Are you confident you‘ get the guy?” Elsa asked, shocked.
Wilber said, “I know what I’m doing. Don’t worry. Catch you later.”
Wilbur hung up the call and chuckled to himself.
He did not know that Elsa had been facing some trouble in the investigation
He did, however, know that there was no way Kenji could get away from something like that scot–free.
That meant the investigation was definitely affected
He had, after all, promised Benny. He had to at least hold up his end of the deal.
Besides, someone like Kenji was a huge threat to society and should definitely be taken down.
Wilbur began to meditate after planning everything out. It was not that difficult of a feat and did not
require much thinking
Faye came back in the evening, and the two of them had dinner together before Wilbur said he had
something to do,
was right o’clock in the evening when he arrived at the Black Dragon Bar.
The place was pretty empty, and Wilbur told one of the servers what he was there for.
The server led Wilbur to an office in the back at once
All that could be seen was Kenji smoking a cigar in the office while chatting with three other people.
He caught sight of Wilbur and let out a laugh. “Buddy! We’re all waiting for you!

Kenji chuckled. “You’re a young man. That’s normal. Since everyone’s here, let’s get started.”
Wilbur nodded and Kenji got up. Two big–sized bodyguards showed up and let everyone further
behind.

Kenji said, “I’m sure you know some things are illegal in our country. I need to keep things a little
hidden.”
“You’re right, Mister Lilith. That’s very smart of you,” Wilbur chuckled as he replied.
Everyone laughed and entered the basement.
The basement was quite a vast space and was luxuriously decorated.
It had a table laden with various liquors, cigarettes, and cigars.
There was a gorgeous dealer standing in the middle, barely wearing anything.
Wilbur and the nest entered, and three more beautiful ladies came up to greet them.
Kenji showed everyone to their seats at the gambling table. “Buddy, since it’s your first time here, I’ll
introduce everyone to you.”
