IN THE HALL
“How strange?! Where did the beauty go suddenly?” Clement asked to himself while looking around the party hall to look for
Athena.
The party was on in full swing now while the important people of the pack was preparing for the ceremony. The pack members
and guests from neighbouring packs were dancing around and enjoying the party a lot.
When Athena ran away from his hold suddenly after receiving some call, exactly at the same time everyone was invited on the
dance floor. That’s why he couldn’t run after her even though he wanted to. She got lost easily. But she wasn’t going to let go of it
so easily. He was going to make sure to find her because he felt some attraction toward her which he never did for anyone.
“Excuse me, please make a way, please move away... I have to go-..” He stopped on his track because someone blocked his
way. With a look of annoyance on his face, he looked up and immediately the annoyance was replaced with shock and a little bit
of respect.
“A... alpha Dominic. Please accept my great wish for the very special day. I am honoured to join it. Thank you so much.” He said
with a smile and a little submissive gesture.
But the look on Dominic’s face didn’t change. When he first came, he was fuming in anger and he was still fuming at that
moment. He looked like ready to murder someone and for some reason, Clement was thinking that it might be him whom he
wanted to kill.
back. “You seem to be in hurry to leave the party. What’s the matter? Don’t you like the party or is it something else?” Dominic
asked in a taunting tone and Clement’s eyes widened in shock realising what was happening.
But he couldn’t understand if Dominic actually misunderstood him or he was making fun of him. He won’t be surprised to know
that he was making fun, he has lots of reason for Dominic to be angry at him. Though he was not directly involved.
· “Alpha Dominic, please don’t misunderstand me. It’s nothing like what you understood. The party is great and I am enjoying it a
lot. And I wasn’t leaving. I was just looking for someone.” He answered truthfully and that’s when Dominic’s expression changed.
“Who is it you are looking for?” Dominic asked with gritted teeth while fisting his hand tightly when he saw the instant smile on
Clement’s face.
“It’s the most beautiful girl in the world that I have ever seen. She was wearing a beautiful red gown and looked like an red angel
in that. I am mesmerized by her beauty. I was lucky enough to get the chance to dance with her but she suddenly ran off to
somewhere. I don’t know where. And I was trying to look for her because I won’t be able to explain the instant attraction I felt
toward her.” Clement answered while looking around with a frown
He didn’t like it. His anger got worsened. His canines were almost coming out. He started to shake in
anger and the colour of his eyes kept changing from his normal colour to golden.
He and his wolf knew who was Clement talking about. Because they both saw Clement dancing with their woman!
Their mate!
Clement’s hands were wrapped around their mate which they wanted to rip off at that moment. The way h
e was smiling at her, made them wanting to punch the hell out of him. ‘What’s wrong with me? I hate her! Then why was this
happening to me?!’ He exclaimed to his wolf in his mind while trying to get control over himself.
Suddenly he couldn’t tolerate anyone near her, let alone looking at her.
It started happening from the moment she entered the room, wearing the beautiful dress, looking exactly like how Clement
described. Beautiful in one world. And the high slit which showed her sexy milky white long leg, made his mind go crazy
everytime he looked at her or anyone else looked at her.
He didn’t like that. He felt like going toward her, throwing her on his shoulder and then walked out of the mansion and lock her in
his room, away from everyone’s eyes. He also had this dangerous urge to punish her for showing what’s his to the world.
How dare she?!
Then again! What’s wrong with him?! Why was he being like his?! Why was the mate bond getting so strong at the time it was
time to get it broken for forever? He could feel the burn in the wound she gave him and so he could imagine what she was going
through.
What was going to happen, might even kill her!
‘Stop it! Go back to mate! She will die! We need her! Go to her!’ His wolf shouted in his head in a restless yet aggressive tone.
His wolf was trying it’s utmost best to come out and get control but he was trying his best to keep him under control. Because the
moment he would come out, there will be a few dead body around first and then he would run off to find Athena.
“A...alpha Dominic? Are you okay?” Clement asked in a confused tone while looking at Dominic’s lost face with a frown. Dominic
came back to earth hearing him and looked at Clement with a glare which yet. again confused him.
“Stay away from her! She is mine!” He growled dangerously while glaring murderously at him, shocking both of them.
“Who are you talking about, Dominic? Hope it’s me.”.
They both turned around to look at the source of the voice to find Stacey standing there with a big smile. Her smile widened
when her eyes fell on him and he looked back at her.
“Oh Dominic!” She exclaimed in happiness and walked toward him with purposed steps. And before Dominic could understand
anything, she planted her lips on him and kissed him, increasing the burn on his chest in ten fold.
“Let’s go. It’s time to mark me and make me your.”.
