34. Her entry

“Last time I remember breaking someone’s head for calling my son that, this time I have something nicer

planned for you. How fucking dare you call my son a bastard?!”

Everyone in the ballroom turned to look at the entrance at the same time. They all turned their heads so

fast that it made a sound with the air. The intensity of the voice was so powerful that everyone was

forced to look at it that way.

As soon as they looked at the entrance, the room filled with the sound of everyone taking a sharp breath

i n. Because the person standing there literally took everyone’s breath away.

Athena stood there in confidence and ran her eyes over the room, looking at every person in the eyes,

as i fto intimidate them. She smirked when she saw that she did a good job at that because most of them

looked down immediately after their eyes met her. At last her eyes stopped at one particular pair of grey

eyes and everything else stopped.

Her aura at that moment was anything but a simple maid. And her look! Her look was simply magnificent.

She was looking like a complete goddess who hypnotised everyone in the room by her beauty.

“Mommy!”

Ace’s ecstatic shout after seeing his beloved mommy brought everyone out of their hypnotised state and

looked at her and Ace in another shock. Ace got down from Dominic’s arms and ran toward Athena at full

speed. She smiled at him lovingly before bending down a little and picking him up. Everyone looked at

the scene in awe.

“My baby!” Athena exclaimed in happiness before kissing him all over the face. Ace immediat p crying in

the safe embrace of her mother. She hugged him tight to make him feel that everything is okay now and

that she got his back.

“Mommy! I missed you.” Ace cried while touching her face with his sweaty and tear filled hands.

“Careful! You are going to ruin her beautiful face!”

“Don’t touch her face!”

They heard two men’s voices from the crowd shouted which made Ace jump but immediately a growl

from Dominic and a tight hug from Athena calmed him down. Dominic glared at those two who made

those comments and they immediately bowed down their heads.

“Mommy missed you two dear. A lot.” She said in a soft tone while kissing him on the forehead.

She can never explain how much she loved him. She won’t say she can die for him because she doesn’t

trust her son with anyone else. But she can surely kill for him! She will make a river of blood if anyone

tries to harm him a little bit.

“I was scared mommy! They were scolding me and scaring me. They are not good.” Ace said in a shaky

tone and shivering lips.

He didn’t want to cry in front of them and make them more angry, Athena immediately felt anger surging

through her spine again as soon as she heard that. She immediately looked up with a fire in her eyes

and yet again it intimidated all the other people.

Why?! No one knew other than Dominic. What else could be the reason that everyone was getting

intimidated by his ex mate on the day of when he was going to mate a new woman? It was clear as

daylight. It was some hints the moon goddess might be giving him.

But what was he going to do?

“How dare you talk to me like that?! Do you even have any idea who you are talking to? I am soon to be

Luna of this pack!” Stacey declared with pride and arrogance which Athena didn’t care about at all.

“We can be whatever you want but I am a mother. And trust me you won’t like to mess up with a mother

because when we get angry, we can bring destruction to anything and everything, your face might be

included in that as well.” Athena said while looking deep into her eyes to let Stacey know that she wasn’t

kidding by any means. “So you better keep your mouth shut in front of me and think twice when you

decide to call my son that again.” She warned in a hard tone, shocking everyone present in the room.

“Dominic! Are you just going to stand there and watch her insult me?” Stacey at last turned toward

Dominic who just came out of the shock which he got when Athena entered the room.

“Just refrain yourself from calling him any names from the next time. That will save all of us from the

trouble, especially you. Now don’t drag it anymore unnecessary.” Dominic said in a blank tone before.

turning away from both of them, Stacey and Athena.

“Oh my god! Did you see her? She is so beautiful.”

“She is more beautiful than our soon to be Luna!”

“Exactly, she is looking like an actual queen, instead of our future Luna.”

“Such a pity that she is a rogue. Our Alpha will never accept this. He might be tolerating them for second

“Yes, I heard that they are friends. But whatever, she is really beautiful!”

Everyone started to murmure all this from all across the room, making Stacey fume in anger while

Athena smirked.

But the moment she took a step forward, the murmur immediately stopped and loud gasps were heard

from all over the room. Her silky smooth leg caused the commotion. And she recognised one of gasps

coming from her dear ex mate as well.

Oh my! Was that satisfying?! That indeed was to her.

Athena walked inside the room with her chin held high and confidence was reeking off of her. The click

clack sound of her high heels against the floor was the only sound heard in the room.

She at first walked toward Suzanne and Patricia and smiled at them apologetically as well as thankfully.

“Thank you so much for taking care of him, you both. I apologise wholeheartedly for the trouble he

caused.” She said in a polite tone. Ace didn’t care to move his head up and look at anyone as he was

with his mommy now.

“Stop talking like an idiot, Athy. You know it was nothing.” Suzanne rolled her eyes at her before smiling

at her.

“She is right. It was absolutely nothing. And you are looking beautiful today. Just like we planned.”

Stacey winked at her,

“What did you guys plan?” Justin asked with a raised eyebrow.

“Nothing special,” Patricia snapped playfully, earning a doubtful look.

“But whatever, you look really beautiful, Athena.” Justin complimented.

“Exactly. You are looking like a fairy in a red rose. So beautiful. The red seems to be made for you only.”

Nathan complimented as well, making her feel shy. She blushed hard while ignoring the obvious glare

she was feeling

“Thank you so much, guys. But when is the party starting?” Athena asked with a smirk.
