“Don’t you fucking know how to follow an order?! Try to do what you are told sometimes! What’s your problem, Athena?” Dominic
shouted at her while holding her face in her hands, looking for any visible wound. Even though he looked and sounded angry,
she easily caught the worry in his tone. She was almost near to melting when she remembered why she was there and took a
step back. She moved away from him as his hand stayed in the air which was touching her cheeks. A small growl erupted inside
his chest in protest to her distance “Why did you move away from me?! Come back here.” He said in a demanding tone, trying to
take the step toward her himself to close the distance she made. But she showed him her palm to stop him from getting any
closer with a cold look on her face. “I am not coming anywhere near you after what you did!” She snapped at him in anger as she
glared at him hard, making him confused. He looked at her with a confused frown as if he couldn’t understand what she was
“What are you talking about, Athena? And let’s walk back into the pack house and then to my room. Everyone is here. Let’s not
create a scene here.” He said in a calm and serious tone while looking around.
The attack was over, his pack members already handled all the rogues and got them locked up inside the dungeon. Now they
were just looking at him for his next command while watching them fight. Athena also understood that it might not be ideal to
fight in front of all these people who were making arrangements for her marking and Luna ceremony. So, she calmed down at
that moment and didn’t say anything about it.
“But what about the pack members?” She asked while looking at a few injured pack members in worry.
“Don’t worry about them. They will be taken care of and the rest can wait for us until we are done fighting.” He said with squinted
eyes before taking her right wrist in his tight hold so that she couldn’t run away again and started to walk toward the pack house.
“W*... wait! But what about Ace and...” She couldn’t complete her question when he answered it as well. “I just mind linked to
Nathan and he said that he is with Ace at this moment. So, don’t worry about him as well until we are done fighting.” He replied
in a cold tone, he sounded as if he was in full mood for a fight. “Okay, then. Let’s fight.” She sounded frustrated seeing him so
eager to fight. She was just losing all the interest in fighting seeing his eagerness. They walked back inside the pack house..
IN THE BEDROOM
“Okay, so tell me, what do you want to know? What do you want to fight about?” He asked in a
cold tone, making her grit her teeth in irritation.
“Do you think it’s all funny? Are you finding humour here?” She asked while looking at him coldly. He folded his arms over his
chest and kept his face neutral.
“Do I look like I am finding things funny here? I am very serious here. Tell me, what is it?” He asked, not a single emotion was on
his face. She let out a huff before starting her blubbering.
“How you fucking dare to lock me up inside the cell?! You called me the betrayer’s daughter. How could you?! Did you even ask
me for any explanation? You just declared me guilty and lock -....!” she couldn’t complete her sentence when he closed the
distance between them, cupped her face and kissed her.
