Theodore turned around at the commotion.
He saw Aurora collapsed on the floor, clutching her chest and panting hard, as if she was feeling breathless.
Shock registered in his face; he rushed to her side and helped her up and into his arms.
"What's the matter?" "I... I'm feeling breathless... I...I..." Aurora opened her mouth wide, her chest heaving and her face white as a sheet.

A few hours later, Aurora gradually stirred awake. By then, it was already midnight.
She opened her eyes, and saw Theodore by her side. She heaved a sigh of relief.
"You're awake," Theodore said, looking at her. "How do you feel?" Aurora looked out the window, her heart thumping in her chest. "Mr. Spencer, what tis it now?" Theodore glanced at his watch. "4.38 in the morning." Aurora sat up on the bed.
Theodore reached out to help her pull up her sheets and prop a pillow against her back.
"It's so late. Why are you still here?" "I sent you to the hospital and saw that you were still unconscious, so I decided to stay a little longer. Why didn't you tellthat you have heart issues?" he asked. Theodore's words stunned Aurora for a moment; she lowered her head guiltily.
She was about to apologize to him again, when she recalled him looking annoyed when she did so before. She swallowed back the apology that was at the tip of her tongue.
"I shouldn't be going around telling strangers about my condition. I didn't expect myself to suffer an attack just now. Sorry to bother you, and thank you for sendingto the hospital," she said.
"Don't mention it," Theodore said.
He would help a stranger he bumped into on the streets, too.

I haven't been in contact with my family for a long time," Aurora said. "But thank you, Mr. Spencer. It's so late, please go back and rest. Freally shouldn't be holding you up any longer." en "But will you be alright alone?" "I'll be fine. I can handle things by myself. It's always been so anyway," Aurora assured him.
"Are you also alone when you suffer an attack and your life is in danger?" Aurora nodded. "Yes. I always have my medication with me, but because I haven't had an attack for a long time, I stopped taking it. It's not good to take too much medicine, anyway." "That's too dangerous." "I have no choice. I can't hire someone to take care of me. I don't have the means." After pondering for a moment, Theodore said, "How about this? I'll hire a nanny to take care of you. Don't worry, I'll pay her salary." "No way!" Aurora rejected him outright. "Mr. Spencer, I know you mean well, but that's too much. I can't return the favor." "This isn't much, and it's not a big deal. What's more, you saved me. Take it asreturning you a favor." There it was again.
