Whether or not it was like what Natalie said, even if there really was something that he didn't know about, as long as another target was chosen and attention was diverted, he could kill two birds with one stone. She could be protected from harm, and he could also lure the culprit out if there really was one! If Natalie had acted alone, that would be great! He was just afraid that things were not as simple! Victoria chuckled.
What he said sounded wrong! Victoria pursed her lips as she thought, "It is better to stay low-profile. I have no objection! But he-" "What do you want to say?" Being seen right through, Victoria did not try to hide her thoughts. "Are you really not moved at all?" Even her heart started racing. In fact, she was more curious about whether there was any truth in what Natalie said.
She had always been biased in favor of him. At that moment, Victoria felt like she had never understood him! It was just that after getting along with him for a period of time, her heart had unconsciously softened! He was such a proud and arrogant man. Would he be lonely, craving for the life of ordinary people? "What she said isn't entirely wrong! It's just that sthings are easier said than done. Even if she understands me, it doesn't mean we match!" Who wouldn't want a soulmate who will be there for them till the end? It was just that soulmates weren't something that can be easily bought from the local store! The first tshe caught his attention, wasn't it because she had the courage to go through hardships with that man? He longed for such true love! Much like how Natalie kept emphasizing on the "beautiful soul" where she continuously prioritized the beauty within while downplaying one's appearance when in truth, it was just a cover-up. Didn't she still do such horrible things secretly? She must have cared about her appearance more than anyone else did on the inside, and tried to hide her flaws by putting on this facade! Their intense gaze met each other. As if she had seen through him, Victoria held his arm, and put her head on his shoulder.

After all, both parties have made mistakes, so why not just muddle along? Sharing the ssentiment, Trevor nodded his head and said, "Okay! We'll do as you say!" After all, whether Natalie was just a shield was something to be discussed further, so she had to be kept alive for the tbeing! "Okay. Hubby, let's go home! Now that we've gotten to the bottom of it, we can be at ease, and finally can go to work. If I continue to stay at home, I'll go nuts." Victoria happily thought about the future as Trevor put on the seat belt for her. He did not say anything and just started the car engine.
During the weekend, Trevor stayed at hto keep Victoria company. Seeing that she was getting better physically, joy was painted all over his face. As she was getting chased by Shirley, Trevor saw her jumping and running around the courtyard, filling the place with laughter and liveliness. There was no longer a frown on Trevor's face.
"Shirley, Shirley. Here, here!" "If you can catch me, I'll find you a boyfriend, and you can give birth to many little Shirleys!" "Haha, slow down, slow down, don't pounce on me!" "Hubby, hurry up and get her to stop!" Victoria ran around the courtyard and ended up next to Trevor. She grabbed him then ran around him. As soon as Trevor opened his arms, Victoria jumped on him, hugging him like an octopus.
"Hubby!" At that moment, the snowy-white dog was already obediently sitting down with its head adorably tilted. It even raised one of its paws and scratched its face, as if laughing at her shyness.
Trevor was overjoyed by the woman and their pet dog. His laughter rang through the courtyard.
A familiar picture flashed through Trevor's mind. He glanced at the snow mastiff sitting in front of him and the woman in his arms. Trevor suddenly realized that happiness could cfrom the simplest things.
It turned out that it was really easy to satisfy them! Trevor unconsciously squinted his eyes as a grin plastered on his face. He raised his hand and caressed the back of Victoria's head. "Troublemaker!" She was like a naughty child, teasing the dog when she had nothing better to do. When the dog ignored her, she ran around it, making fun of it. When the dog played along and chased after her, she ran around the courtyard, screaming for dear life.
Victoria opened her eyes and secretly took a look at the dog. Seeing that the snow mastiff was sitting on the ground at a distance with its paws curled up, looking harmless and obedient, only did Victoria start breathing heavily as she slowly turned around. She patted her chest, and teased, "What? You're not chasing afteranymore?" Trevor could not hold back his laughter when he saw how silly she was and how her face had turned red like an apple. "Silly!" "You're so tiny. If it really runs and pounces on you with its 75kg body, you'll be as flat as a pancake! Shirley has a bad temper! You're not allowed to take her out alone!" If it really lost its temper, it wouldn't be safe even with a trainer around.

It doesn't matter whether it's useful or not. At least, it scares people off!" Trevor could sense how unsafe she felt. Trevor hugged her tightly and said, "I'll attend fewer social gatherings and get hearly from now on!" "Okay!" While they were talking, the butler cover. "Mr. Trevor, Mr. Crouch is here!" "Alright!" Trevor nodded, and Victoria took the lead to say, "Carry on with your business! I'll send Shirley back!" She waved her hand to summon the trainer. Trevor sent her a word of warning again before walking away.

As soon as they returned to the office, the secretary cin with a bag of melon seeds. "Mr. Clements, here is what you asked for!" "Okay. Bring two cups of coffee in!" After taking off his suit, Frederick was just about to sit down when he saw Chet had torn open the melon seeds. He was eating while staring at him, pouting. "Frederick, it's original-flavored! We've agreed not to work overtthis week!"
"Don't try to bribewith just a handful of melon seeds!" He thought to himself. Although they smellech good and were delicious, they were too dry and tasteless for him! Frederick rolled his eyes at him, stretched his hand out and snatched the seeds away from him. "Oh, please! Who told you it's for you?" "What? I'm working overtime! You won't even share a bag of melon seeds?" Chet reached over and grabbed a handful of the snack. At that moment, the secretary cin with two cups of coffee. She couldn't help but chuckle out loud when she saw the two men bickering with one another. She then placed the cups in front of them, before slowly stepping out.
When the soft sound of the door being closed was heard, the two also stopped messing around. They tidied their shirts before returning to their shirts before seats. Frederick took a piece of tissue and poured smelon seeds on it. Chet hurriedly stretched out his hand, but before the smile on his face could appear, Frederick threw a wet blanket on him. "It's not for you!" He peeled one and said slowly and matter-of-factly, "We'll only be using our mouths to talk. Since your hands are free, why not help to peel these melon seeds!"
