"This would have been so easy if I had learned the basics of Explosive Release…" Aion thought as he was flying upward. "I guess just keeping myself busy and training daily isn't enough if I am not pushing myself hard enough."
The draconic wanderer suddenly began to fly upward as well, and this time, his face was annoyed instead of excited. Aion could see that he was someone who only had easy fights recently and that he liked the feeling of being way superior to his enemies. Aion felt bored when that was the case since he couldn't get stronger in those battles.
The enemy sped up and then flew while zigzagging to avoid Aion's spear while he was getting close. Aion looked over his shoulder and then furrowed his eyebrows. It was hard to imagine that his spear enchanted with magic, would be effective against an enemy that fast. He had another idea, but he would rather not use it against an enemy of that level… even if he was losing in all aspects. Speed, strength, and magic.
When he was one hundred meters away, the enemy suddenly charged even faster than before. Aion felt a shiver and then made his spear spin. The weapon slowed down the enemy a bit, but Aion could tell two or three hits of the same level, and the weapon would break.
Aion flew to the side and then crossed a cloud while the enemy passed in a straight line. He couldn't maneuver that fast at his top speed… still, after he slowed down a bit, he flew in an arc toward Aion.
"That guy will really become a useful death knight… it will be weird, but I could even use him to cross large distances on his back," Aion thought.
First things first, Aion had to deal with that guy. After thinking for a few seconds, he decided to bet everything on the next attack to make sure that he won't reveal more of his skills.
When the draconic wanderer approached, he felt that something off was in the air, but that didn't stop him from approaching Aion. When he tried to attack him, he just punched with all his might since he knew that the spear would get in the way. In the next moment, the weapon suddenly made a shit ton of mana spread around the area and then froze everything around the draconic wanderer in a ten meters radius.
Aion had just enough mana to make the huge block of ice to go downward and smash against the ground like a meteor. However, before that could happen, the body of the enemy began to glow head, and then the ice started to crack.

In the next moment, the ice broke, and the draconic wanderer showed a form of a human-sized dragon. His entire body was covered in scales, and the mana in his body was so powerful that he could even distort the space around him to some extent.

Aion hid behind his shield for a moment, but that didn't help much. A single punch from the enemy destroyed his shield and made him fly in the direction of the volcano west of their direction. Aion crossed fifteen kilometers in two seconds and then collided against the volcano, making it tremble. Aion felt like his entire body was screaming in pain… even with all that defensive power.
"I need more training…" Aion thought while getting up and healing himself a bit. "Even this class is at a relatively low level."
The draconic wanderer was approaching again, and Aion really had to stop fooling around. He is going to die because he was fearful that the enemies might learn too much about him… that could be a joke.
Aion took a deep breath, and then the enemy felt a shiver that forced him to stop in midair and raise his guard. He thought that Aion was about to do something, but nothing happened.
"What is wrong? Are you chickening out?" Aion smiled. "Just so you know, you will die anyway. It doesn't matter if you will attack me or not. Still, I should warn you that things will be easier for me if you keep your distance."
That had to be a bluff… the draconic wanderer had more or less experience when it came to that. He couldn't imagine himself being slower than Aion. Still, even so… all his instincts were telling him that he needed to be careful.
Still, in the end, Aion didn't like when he said that. He had never tried that before, but he knew how electricity worked, he only didn't have time to do that, but he had the idea around the time he was leveling up the Sorcerer's class.
Lightning is a form of electricity. Lightning is electrons moving from one cloud to another or electrons jumping from a cloud to the ground. When someone feels a shock when they touch an object after walking across a carpet, a stream of electrons jumps to you from that object. This is called static electricity.
Using the same logic, Aion covered his hands with wind magic using all the mana from his core and then clapped them while pointing to the enemy… in the next moment, a thick lightning bolt hit the draconic wanderer at full power. Aion almost passed out, though, due to the sheer power of the noise caused by the attack.
