A flowery forest sprawled across as far as Keng's eyes could see. He took a moment to catch his breath as Jyu'so stepped into view.
"It's been a while since I've come here." Jyu'so casually commented. "I heard that when you were here last with the Golden one. You brought a friend here, too, correct?" He looked at Keng, who nodded at him. "Did the main Village give you a headache? You must've been sad to come to such a place that was haunted by such creatures because of the rules in place for Dat'e."
"Well, we don't know the rules here, so it wasn't too shocking when Lady Vix'I told us about the 'no humans' rules." Keng answered.
"That's why Revit is such a welcoming place. They understand the views of their people yet want to secure a place where all people could walk openly. Humans, Sprites, the Lizard folk, etc. Revit is the dream of all the Foxes who wanted to allow such a place for people from different walks of life, different races, to come and be free." Jyu'so nodded like he was reminiscing the old days. "That's why I run my little village the way I do. It's small and quaint and near the sea, but establishing relationships with the merfolk is hard work. But I ramble on like an old Fox. You don't need to listen to me ramble. We're here to see the work you've done!"
Jyu'so continued talking with Keng following behind him.
"So, tell me, Silver one. What are you planning on doing about the Golden one? Since he doesn't seem to remember you at all." Jyu'so glanced at Keng.
"Train hard here and help General Halys and Eldest with figuring out what's happening." Keng answered.
"And what if they don't allow you to find the Golden one? What will you do then?"
"I will do what I need to do then." Keng spoke with confidence. "I'll figure out a way to get some information. Even if I have to train hard. I'll figure out a way to get to him."
"Human affairs. Such fickle creatures to get involved in, but God King Daros has degreed humans into his ever-growing family, so who am I to judge. Fox Spirits cause so much trouble, too." Jyu'so sighed and waved his hand. "Don't think about the Golden one so much right now. General Halys as decided you will stay with me for the time being. I shall train you for the time being until that day comes." Keng nodded.
"Thank you for taking me in, Elder. If it weren't for you, I don't know what I would be doing."
"Don't mention it, child. We're nearing the new village. Let's attend to our duties and we'll start your training afterwards."
The sounds of people grew louder. The walked dirt path quickly turned into colorful blue and green stones. Jyu'so happily nodded as the Flower Forest village grew closer.

"Ah, Elder Jyu'so! It's good to see you, again!" A five-tailed bird-Fox Spirit waved.
"Ah, Gorrum. You were in charge of handling the building of the Forest village?" Jyu'so asked. The two gave each other bows.
"I'm just here to make sure the work is secured and finished." Gorrum chuckled. His eyes landed on Keng, who trailed behind the two fo them. "Who is this? Is this the new one I've been hearing about?"
"Yes, yes." Jyu'so nodded. " This one is one of the Twin Suns. Silver one, this is Gorrum. Gorrum is from the floating islands in the South. Gorrum this is Keng, the Silver Twin."
"Nice to meet you, sir Gorrum." Keng bowed.
"Likewise." Gorrum bowed. "So, where's your partner?"
"Oh, he's, uh," Keng bit his lip. "He's on Earth. There's a problem and I had to be here." Gorrum nodded, understanding there was probably more to the story than Keng wanted to say. Gorrum's arms were covered with feathers. He noticed Keng was looking at them and smiled.
"You're wondering if I can fly with this?" Gorrum lifted his arms. They were just covered with feathers. Keng noticed Gorrum didn't have any wings and nodded. "I'm part harpy. I've retained some feathers on my arms and I got bird feet." He motioned at his feet. He had talons.

"Nowadays they are." Jyu'so nodded. "There was a small batch of Fox Spirits after Eldest was created that were full Fox Spirits. Those ended up becoming apart of the God King's guard. They follow him around."
"Ahh, I met the God King, but I don't remember seeing them. All I saw were those ladies that stood by his side." Keng recalled.
"Those would be them." Jyu'so nodded.
"They're servants of the God King, but are deadly weapons." Gorrum added. The group moved into the heart of the forest village. "Well, we're here now. What's the occasion, Elder? Just come to check on the development of another village?"
"Mmm. I've also come to see the Silver one's work. General Halys told me they helped a Sprite. I would like to meet her."
"Ahhh, Florabelle. I think she's tending to the river running behind the main cabin." Gorrum spoke. "Come, I'll take you to her." Gorrum led them towards the main cabin.
"Good to see this was kept as is." Keng commented.
"Mmm, they wanted to keep some original piece in the village. Florabelle was against changing it. She wanted it to be there as a reminder of the past and to remind others to not repeat it."
"A great point." Jyu'so nodded. They wandered over towards the river. Keng noticed the small hut. It was upgraded with original pieces still attached to it. Florabelle's hums greeted Keng's ears as Gorrum motioned at the hut.
"She's in here." Gorrum told Jyu'so. "Florabelle, you got visitors."
"Visitors? Who wants to see me?"Florabelle asked flying out of the hut and rising up to Gorrum's height. "Oh! Keng! You're back!" She rushed into his cheek, smooshing herself against it as she hugged him.
"Hiya. It's been awhile." Keng greeted her. Florabelle pulled away as she wiped her eyes.
"I never thought I'd see you again! They started building and I was so upset that they were gonna take away the place you saved me and rebuild it!" Florabelle complained.
"But they didn't, right?"
Florabelle nodded. Keng smiled and looked around.
"It looks good now, huh? I see you added loads of flowers and stuff around here." Keng pointed out the flowers.
"Yup!" Florabelle nodded. She flew towards a set of gold and silver flowers. "Like them? I bred these ones myself. It took awhile but I finally got them just right." Their petals were silver and gold and the middle part pulsed different colors.
"How long did it take you to do that?"
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏm"Mmm, a couple weeks. It was worth it. I also got some black ones that represent Ritsuka, too! When will I get to see them again?" Florabelle asked, tilting her head.
"Mmm, not for awhile. They're busy." Keng lied. Florabelle nodded and looked over at the shorter Fox Spirit.
"Who's this, Keng?" Florabelle asked.
"This is Elder Jyu'so." Keng motioned. He motioned her to come forward and whispered, "He's one of the Elder brothers and sisters. He wanted to talk to you about what happened." Florabelle nodded as she lowered herself to Jyu'so's level.
"Hello, I heard you wanted to talk to me?" Florabelle asked. Jyu'so nodded.
"A Water Sprite! I never thought you'd be the friend General Halys and the Twin Suns spoke of. It's a pleasure to meet you, Sprite. My name is Jyu'so." He stuck his hand out and Florabelle grabbed his finger and shook it.
"Hello. My name is Florabelle. Nice to meet you. I heard you wanted to see me for some reason?" Florabelle pulled away and folded her hands behind her as she tilted her head.
"Ah, yes. I almost forgot. I wanted to see you for myself…" Jyu'so moved closer. Florabelle moved backwards, looking at Gorrum and Keng for an answer on what to do. Jyu'so studied Florabelle closely, nodding as he pulled away.
"Mmm, definitely a child of the Earth goddess. I see why General Halys says you won't bother the village." Jyu'so nodded.
"What does Nature Warrior have to do with this?" Florabelle crossed her arms across her chest.
"General Halys told me you guided the children to gathering ingredients to make this place what it once was. You also got them to get rid of the angry ghosts, right?"
"Yes, I did. If it weren't for them, I would be in a pile of nasty water and gross items. Those ghosts weren't the best when it came to keeping up with this forest." Florabelle motioned. Jyu'so nodded and admired the forest around them.
"Ah, yes. Quite true. Y'see Florabelle, I wanted to know this because I had to be sure if I'm making the correct decision."
"Decision? What decision?" Florabelle hovered closer. Jyu'so lifted one of his hands and a shadowy flame appeared.
"Do you really think Keng is trustworthy?" Jyu'so asked. "If he is, I'll help him. If you don't think he's that trustworthy, I won't help him. So I need you to show me what he did."
