Villain MMORPG: Almighty Devil Emperor and His Seven Demonic Wives
Chapter 95 The Emperor’s BloodlustVillain Ch 95. The Emperor's Bloodlust
"That's what excited me. Too bad I couldn't kill him," Allen declared with a hint of annoyance in his tone. Despite his words, his voice was cold, causing the others to fall silent, shivering at the sound of it.
Vivian felt a sense of unease creep up her spine. Something about Allen's tone and demeanor was different from the man she knew. It was as if a dark veil had been lifted, revealing a side of him that she had never seen before.
"Well, he might be participating in the next event. You can kill him then," Shea offered, trying to break the tense silence.

Once again, the second event almost started. The virtual sun blazed down on the players gathered in the heart of the Gorroc desert, their eyes squinted against the glare. The anticipation was palpable as they waited for the next treasure hunt event to begin. Unlike the previous event in Ront City, the turnout was not that huge, as some had decided to go hunting for rare items instead. Others deemed the Sand Pit dungeon too far, even though it was only two maps away.
The Gorroc desert was a vast expanse of sand dunes, stretching out as far as the eye could see. The sun beat down mercilessly on the players, making them grateful that it was only in the virtual world. The landscape was dotted with low level cactus monsters, their spines bristling in warning as they sensed the approaching players. These monsters were about a toddler height, with round bodies and multiple spindly arms that they used to attack their enemies. Their skin was tough and leathery, perfectly adapted to withstand the harsh desert conditions.
Little ant monsters scurrying across the sand. These creatures were only slightly two levels stronger than slimes, but they moved quickly and could swarm their enemies in large numbers. Their exoskeletons were a vibrant red color, and they had sharp mandibles that they used to bite and sting their foes. Despite their small size, these ant monsters were surprisingly aggressive, and players had to be careful not to underestimate them.
In the center, a huge hole that was guarded by several soldiers with completely closed clothes guarding it, was the entrance. Their faces were obscured by thick cloth masks. The soldiers looked at the players warily, their hands resting on the hilts of their swords.
The entrance to the dungeon was much simpler than the underground dungeon. It seemed like a straightforward path, and the maze wasn't that difficult to navigate. It was clear that the game developer had designed this dungeon to be easier, especially since it was the second event.
The maze resembled an ant nest in the middle of the desert. The walls were made of sandstone, and the ceiling was low, making the space feel cramped. The floor was uneven, and there were small mounds of sand here and there. The air was thick with the scent of dirt and dust. It owned paths and rooms. Although it was not as complex as the previous underground dungeon, the maze was still vast and intimidating.
Despite its size, the sand pit dungeon had only two levels, in contrast to the three levels of the underground dungeon.
Just like before, Allen and the girls get the same mission and the same minimum kill. The girls could sense a change in Allen's demeanor. His once calm and collected attitude was replaced by an intense determination that bordered on obsession. His eyes were set with a steely glint and his jaw was clenched tightly. The girls couldn't help but feel slightly unnerved by this sudden shift in his behavior.
Immediately, they dispersed once they arrived at the dungeon, hunting other players. Allen's eyes glinted with a dangerous light as he scanned the area, his senses honed in on any movement. He moved with a deadly grace, his steps silent as he stalked his prey. With each step, he felt his bloodlust rising, fueling his abilities.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmAs he caught sight of his first victim, a low-level player armed with a bow, his grin widened in anticipation. He dashed forward, his claws gleaming in the dim light of the dungeon. The player fired an arrow, but it missed its mark as Allen easily dodged the attack. With a swift movement, he lunged forward, his claws striking true and the player fell with a gurgled scream.
Allen's bloodlust only grew stronger as he moved forward, his demonic lances glowing with an otherworldly energy. He threw them with deadly accuracy, taking out multiple players at once. The sound of battle echoed through the tunnels as Allen moved with a ferocity.
The close quarters of the dungeon did present some difficulties for Allen, as the ceiling was too low for him to fully utilize his full demonic lances or fly skill. But he adapted quickly, using his brute strength to throw his opponents around like rag dolls. He moved with a fluidity, his movements like that of a predator toying with its prey.
Despite his overwhelming bloodlust, Allen remained calm and focused, never losing sight of his objectives. So he moved with caution and deliberation, never taking unnecessary risks or acting recklessly. After all, who knew if that Mac guy influenced other players to attack him.
Ten minutes had passed since Allen and the girls entered the sand pit dungeon, and they had already surpassed their kill count from the previous event. The simpler maze made it easier for them to navigate and take down their enemies faster.
But as they hunted down their targets, the treasure boxes that were scattered throughout the dungeon were being discovered at a faster rate than before. Once a player found it, an announcement would appear, and soon more players were flocking to the sand pit dungeon in hopes of getting their hands on the treasures. Especially since the jackpot had yet to be found and there were only five left.
