Chapter 324
Aiden nodded, a shit ton of questions swirling in his head. He was afraid of putting his foot in his mouth, so he
headed back to his room.
Once the door was shut, he planned to give his father a ring. His little bro Alex was munching on some sweets,
eyeballing Aiden, “What’s the matter with you? You look down in the dumps.”
“Something’s up with Mum and Dad. Granny just told me she’s gonna find us a new mum…”
At that, Alex shot up from his chair, “A new mum? Why?”
Aiden frowned, looking like a carbon copy of Emmett.

“Then go ask Mum!”
“I tried calling her, but she didn’t pick up. Dad hasn’t called me back either.”
This was beyond Alex’s comprehension. He could only guess if there was some beef between Granny and Mum,
considering they never got along.
“I’ll go ask Granny.” Alex grinned, ‘Granny’s sweet on me. She’ll spill the beans.”
Aiden shook his head, “No dice this time. I just asked her, and all she said was about finding us a new mum. She
didn’t give me the skinny.”
This made him even more worried!
Usually, Granny was the type to lay it out straight. But this time, she chose to keep mum.
This definitely wasn’t small potatoes!
Aiden sat on the edge of the bed, staring at his phone. No response for ages had him on pins and needles.
Aiden sighed, “If Granny comes, tell her I’ve hit the sack.”
Alex nodded, puzzled, “Why? Are you heading out?”
“Yeah, I’m gonna find Dad. I need to get the lowdown on this.”
Alex made a face and asked, “Why don’t we just tell it like it is? New mum, old mum, we only want our real mum.”
“No can do!”
“Why not? You said Granny didn’t like Clara because she thought she wasn’t our real mum. So if we tell granny

“We can’t just blab. Mum told us we can’t let the cat out of the bag unless she does first.”
Alex frowned, his little face full of confusion, “This won’t work, that won’t work, I’m all out of ideas!”
“I’m all at sea too; that’s why I want to find Dad. Remember, don’t let slip that I’ve gone to find Dad, got it?”
Alex nodded, “Okay, I’ll do as you say. But you gotta keep me posted.”
“Don’t worry.”
Inside the hotel suite.
Elio pushed open the door and walked in, immediately spotting Leah Calloway busy with something.
Leah saw him and stood up, “You did well. I thought you might pull a fast one…”
Elio frowned, looking pissed off, “I’ve done as you asked. Can I take Clara now?”
