Chapter 946 Leave It to Me
"You are his friend. Of course, you would speak up for him," Jenny said, glancing at Alec.
She didn't have much of an opinion about Paul, but she felt that he and Stephanie weren't
suitable for each other. Perhaps, as Alec said, it was because he didn't know how to love
someone due to the environment he grew up in. If that was the case, Paul should learn
how to love someone first and then come find Stephanie when he knew how. It made no
sense for him to cling to Stephanie before learning how to love.
"It's normal. You want Stephanie to be happy, and I want Paul to be happy. There's nothing
wrong with that." Alec didn't think he was wrong to help Paul. On the contrary, he thought
it would be unbecoming of him not to help Paul.
Jenny didn't comment on that, as she agreed. "Don't worry. I just want to give the two of
them some chance to interact. If Stephanie likes Paul, she won't like Leonard."
"Okay,” Alec nodded, but he didn't agree.
Even if Stephanie didn't like Leonard at the moment, there was no guarantee that she

love with Leonard, she wasn't meant to be with Paul. Alec, who was not involved in their
relationship, couldn't do anything about it.
After the two had lunch, Alec took Jenny back to the hospital for work.
On the way back, Jenny messaged Stephanie, asking her to have dinner with Leonard.
However, Stephanie didn't have Leonard's contact information.
Helpless, Jenny had to find the contact information herself, and she even wondered if she
could get Leonard to join them for dinner. However, she thought that she should be able to
get him to join them if she invited him, saying it was on behalf of Stephanie.
Just then, the car stopped at the hospital entrance. "Here we are."
"Thank you,* Jenny said.
When she was about to open the car door to get out, Alec asked, "Have you asked
Stephanie about it?’
Having noticed that she had been messaging someone the whole journey, he guessed it
was Stephanie.
Jenny nodded and said, "But she doesn't have Leonard's contact information, so I have to
invite him myself."
"Do you have his contact information?’ Alec asked, frowning and wondering why she
would have it instead.
Chuckling, she replied, "I got his contact information from him after I heard he was
Stephanie's classmate."
For Stephanie's happiness, she had put herself out there.
Alec's face fell, clearly upset.
"You don't have to make the appointment. I'll do it."
"You?" Jenny was surprised, wondering if Alec would be able to convince Leonard to accept
their invitation.
"Go to work. Leave it to me, and you don't have to worry about it." It was just Leonard.
Was it too hard for Alec to make an appointment with him?
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmAbove all, he didn't want Jenny to contact other men, even though he knew that she
obtained Leonard's contact information only for Stephanie's sake. Seeing his
determination, Jenny didn't press him with more questions. She believed that Alec was
capable of doing that.
"Alright, I'm going to head in now. Drive safely," she said.
"Okay, I'll pick you up after work."
After Jenny disappeared from view, Alec started the car and drove to the Faust Group.
The Faust Group was not the same as when Alec had first arrived. Perhaps it was because
of Xavier's death and Luke's recent arrest, the entire company seemed to be shrouded in
gloom, with hardly any smiling faces.
However, all of that had no impact on Alec. Instead, he was happy to see this result. After
all, the Faust Group was no longer his, and it wouldn't affect him much anyway.
Not only would he not take action to solve the problem, but he would also take advantage
of the situation to make the Faust Group suffer more. Only then would Zeke make the right
decision.
