Chapter 660 He Lost Something
After the meal, Jenny had no reason to continue pestering Alec, so she smiled at him and
said, 'TH be leaving now."
As she walked away, she knew that the next time they met, they would just be
acquaintances who happened to also be collaborative partners.
'Okay." Alec nodded, but for some reason, he felt a bit uneasy. He felt like he was losing
something.
It didn't take long for Jenny's figure to disappear from Alec's sight, and the feeling of loss
became more pronounced. He had a strong urge to go after her. Unfortunately, Jenny's car
was nowhere to be seen, and he had no idea where she went. He didn't understand why
he felt that way, especially since everything should have returned to normal.
When his phone rang, and he saw it was a call from Blake, he answered it. ’ Where are

Blake gave him an address, and he drove there right away. He could tell something was
off, but he couldn't understand why. Since Blake was a psychologist, he decided to turn to
her for help.
Jenny, who had already left, didn't know any of that. When she arrived at Walter Inc, she
didn't immediately go inside. She sat in her car, thinking about the things Alec had said.
While she understood what he'd told her might be the truth, it was still hard for her to
swallow.
She was certainly upset, but she wouldn't lose her mind over the matter. After resting for a
moment in her car, she got out and took the elevator to Graham's office, ready to discuss
the collaboration with the Glasses.
Now that Jenny had identified the issue of concern, she would focus on it and weave her
plan around it. This time, she would teach the Glasses a lesson.
Meanwhile, Rowena was hiding in the corner of a restaurant with Jolene.
"I was informed that James will be here to meet his client today. This is your only chance
to see him.”
A person like James didn't need to socialize with clients every single day. If it hadn't been
because he had an appointment to meet his client that day, they wouldn't have been able
to get wind of his whereabouts.
Jolene nodded, her eyes sparkling with excitement. "But how do I..."
She felt a little shy. Even if James were drunk, he wouldn't be completely unconscious. If
he saw it was her, he might reject her advances. Since this was her only chance, she
needed to make sure everything would go according to plan.
’You don't have to worry about that. I've bribed the waiter attending James' private room
to spike his drink. You'll definitely get your chance later." Since Rowena brought Jolene
along, she must have had everything prepared in advance.

"Jo, have you really thought this through? James doesn't seem like a good guy. After you
get married to him, what if he-"
"Don't worry, Mom. I'm confident in myself. Even if he doesn't like me initially, he'll grow to
love me as time passes.’ Jolene wasn't going to give up that easily.
Seeing how determined Jolene was, Rowena didn't say anything further. No matter what,
marrying into the Windsors was still better than becoming a part of the Britts.
The mother and daughter waited patiently. Soon, people left the private room one by one,
but James was nowhere to be seen. Jolene was anxious.
"Mom, are you sure he's in there?"
"I'm sure of it. He must have passed out by now. Quick, go and take a look. Don't let
anyone else get to him before you do." Rowena gave her a slight push, urging her to go
ahead with their plan.
Jolene nodded and went over while blushing furiously. Her heart swelled with joy when she
thought that James would be hers in just a moment.
