Chapter 641 Must I Give You a Reason for Not Liking You?
With that, Jenny turned around to leave. Brandon watched her retreating figure in silence.
He couldn't help but wonder who would lead the Walters in the future. Previously, he firmly
believed it was Jolene, but the more he thought about it, the more he felt she lacked the
ability. It was Jenny who had what it took.
He sighed and gave up. Even if Jenny was the one, he couldn't marry her. That woman was
much harder to deal with than Jolene.
Footsteps from the living room entrance interrupted his thoughts. James thought it was
Jenny returning, but when he looked up, he saw Jolene instead. His smile disappeared,
replaced with a blank expression.
Jolene walked over and sat next to him, blinking at him. "James," she said, hoping to

However, James wasn't a good person. He only pretended to be kind and gentle in front of
Jenny. If it were someone else, he wouldn’t bother dealing with them.
Seeing that James ignored her, Jolene wasn't discouraged and continued," James, you
don't really think that Jenny is the Walters' missing daughter, do you?"
James frowned, "What do you mean?"
"I am my mom's only daughter," Jolene replied. Although she didn't say it explicitly, the
meaning was clear.
James sneered, "You're trying to say that Jenny is an illegitimate child?"
"Yes, she is," Jolene confirmed. She thought James must have been fooled by Jenny,
thinking she was the real eldest daughter of the Walters and therefore liked her. But Jenny
wasn't; Jolene was.
"So what? What does that have to do with me?" James didn't care whether Jenny was an
illegitimate child or not. What he cared about was Graham's attitude toward Jenny. At least
for now, Graham cared more about her. As for Jolene, Graham probably didn't have much
expectation for her, so he didn't bother raising her.
"James, she's an illegitimate child. She's not worth your affection," Jolene said, her face
turning red. "I like you, James. Can't you give me a chance?"
James was annoyed as he looked at Jolene, but she didn't notice. When she saw him
glance over, she blushed and grew shyer. James was about to leave when Jenny returned,
and he felt relieved.
"Jenny," he called out to her.
Jenny didn't find it strange to see Jolene there and teased James by saying, "I didn't know
you were so popular."

doesn't mean I'm flattered." 1
Jolene was stunned by his words. She asked, "What's wrong with me? Why do you prefer a
divorcee? Why won't you give me a chance?"
Before Jenny came into her life, she was always the center of attention. No one had
treated her badly. However, everything changed the moment Jenny arrived.
James looked at her coldly and replied, "Must I give you a reason for not liking you?"
He didn't understand why she kept bothering him.
For Jenny's sake, he didn't want to cause any misunderstandings, so he kept his distance
from Jolene. However, Jolene was Jenny's sister, so he couldn't speak too harshly. He still
wanted to marry Jenny and didn't want to make Graham unhappy.
