Chapter 1092 You Don't Know Him Well Enough
After putting on a casual outfit, Jenny went downstairs to the dining area where Alec was
sitting.
"Come and eat," Alec said when he saw her, quickly putting down the financial newspaper
in his hand and focusing all his attention on Jenny.
Jenny nodded and asked, "Did you choose all the clothes in the closet?"
"No, I talked to the brand in advance. I had them send over an item of the same style for
every clothing item you bought from them,’ Alec said. He didn't know Jenny's preferences,
but the brands did, so he thought that was the best approach.
Jenny nodded. No wonder she found all the clothes in the closet so familiar. They were all
the same style as the ones she had bought before.

Alec just smiled and got up to serve Jenny a bowl of chicken soup. 'I'm glad you like it."
As they ate breakfast, Alec thought about taking Jenny to see Trey after they finished. At
that moment, Jenny was hesitating about how to tell him about going abroad.
Stephanie knew her well, and after their drunken night, she had also come to many
realizations. For her, love was far less important than other things, especially since it
involved Evan's future. So she decided to go.
"Alec," Jenny suddenly said, biting her lip. "I might be going abroad with Evan soon, and I
don't know when I'll be back."
Alec's hand paused briefly in midair. "Mm, I heard from Stephanie."
"Oh? Did she tell you?" Jenny was surprised by his reaction. She had been worried about
telling him, but he already knew.
"Are you sure you want to go?" Alec asked, looking at her.
Jenny nodded solemnly. "Yes, even though the chances of his recovery are not great, I
don't want to give up so easily."
In her opinion, if Evan could recover, she would finally be free to do what she wanted. So
no matter how difficult it was now, she was willing to do everything she could to help him
recover.
"I guess you didn't believe what I told you," Alec said with a bitter smile. He didn't know if
he or Jenny was the bigger fool.
Jenny was stunned for a moment, then understood. "It's not that I don't believe you, but I
don't think anyone would fake something like this."
"Especially not someone like Evan," she thought.
"That means you don't know Evan well enough." Alec wiped his mouth and handed a stack

"I was planning to talk to you after breakfast, but now...I lost my appetite.’ He would never
let Jenny go abroad with Evan, even if there was no evidence.
Jenny eyed the documents suspiciously before putting down the spoon in her hand to take
a look. The contents were very simple. Evan's attending physician had earned extra
money through an overseas black market.
Although the money was in the name of his son, who was only in his teens, everyone knew
what was going on.
Jenny was also shocked, but she remained rational. "What does this mean? II
"You should know how much money doctors at Bardoff Hospital can earn in a month. Don't
you think it's strange that Evan's doctor suddenly has so much extra money?" Alec asked.
Jenny fell silent.
