Chapter 4106

Upon finishing her sentence, Morticia's eyes blazed icily. Her fiend soul burst from her body as she rose in the air, clutching

a black longsword to meet Grunt's attack!

In the blink of an eye, a battle broke out between them.

Darryl gasped when he saw that. He was at a loss, torn between feeling complicated and overwhelming.

He felt complicated because being captured by Grunt was dangerous enough, but another powerful figure from the fiend

race had appeared too.

He was overwhelmed because he might have a chance at survival if the fiend woman could wound Grunt mortally.

Grunt and Morticia flew in circles through and around each other in mid air. The collisions of the black longsword and the

golden spear emitted a series of clangs that rang through the air.

Grunt had started the battle full of confidence. Yet he slowly began to sweat, shock creeping into his system.

What the hell? Was that woman not just a fiend general? How was she so powerful?

"Give it up. You're no match for me."

Just as Grunt was in disbelief, Morticia gave a loud cry. Then, she raised her arm, bringing

it down on him as quick as lightning!

That blow was one of terrifying strength, radiating impossible power. It blocked all of

Grunt's defenses, leaving him with no way out. Grunt panicked instantly.

F*ck!

Grunt did not waste time sparing a second thought, channeling all the godly energy in his

body. He brought a palm forward as he tried to meet his opponent's attack.

The two palms collided with earth-shattering noise. The entire canyon seemed to rattle

along with it. With a dull hum, Grunt stumbled many steps backward. His face paled

instantly.

Morticia's strength was only second to the Archfiend Antigonus as one of the twelve Fiend

Martyrs. Of course, Grunt was no match for her!

"You're the Nine Heaven Emperor's general, yet you have such bad judgment. You think

that I'm only a fiend general?" Morticia scoffed. "I'm one of the twelve Fiend Martyrs, idiot.

Just thought you should know that before you die."

What?

Grunt's chest thudded as he stared blankly at Morticia. He found himself speechless, and

disbelief was written all over his face!

That woman was one of the twelve renowned Fiend Martyrs!

No wonder her powers were so terrifying. F*ck, he had underestimated his enemy.

Grunt was filled with nothing but regret. If he had known she was one of the twelve Fiend

Martyrs, he would never have struck first.

"Well. It's time for you to die, now that you know who I am."

Morticia spat out the words lightly. She raised her palms, channeling a terrifying gust of

fiend soul energy. It condensed into a gigantic ball in mid air in front of her, hurtling in

Grunt's direction!

Grunt's expression shifted. He gulped.

That move was one he might not be able to block.

Grunt scrambled to channel all the godly energy in him, forming a protective shield in

front of him.

A split second later, the ball of energy made contact with the shield, emitting an earth-shattering bang. The protective

shield shattered instantly as Grunt shrieked, blood spraying from his mouth. His body flew into the distance like a kite

without a string, landing heavily onto a rock.

He was up against someone far too strong. All of Grunt's energy was no match for the blow.

Grunt landed on the rock with an agonized howl. The pain searing through his body was so unbearable that he almost

passed out.

Grunt had lost all will to attack. Yet he knew he would not be able to escape Morticia's wrath if he simply retreated. An idea

came to him when he saw Darryl at the cave entrance.

"Honorable Nine Heaven Sage."

Gritting his teeth through the pain, Grunt extended an arm toward Darryl." My deepest apologies, for I will no longer be

able to protect you any longer.

I hope you don't fault me, Honorable Master."

Grunt was a cunning man. He knew that revealing Darryl's identity would shift the Fiend Martyr's focus.

The Nine Heaven Sage?

Sure enough, Morticia's gaze zeroed in on Darryl almost instantly. 5

Grunt scrambled to his feet, taking the opportunity to fly out of the cave at top speed.
