| sneered. "I lied to you? Who's the one lying now? Letask you a question, then. When | nearly died in the

morgue, where were you and who were you with?”

Theo frowned. "Why are you suddenly bringing up that night's incident?"

| was furious. When | recalled the night | nearly died and how he was with Cindy, I just felt suffocated inside.

ate in a restaurant with Cindy, talking and laughing with each other.

Theo took a deep breath and spoke in a grumpy tone, "Can't we communicate properly, Wanda?

Since neither of us was willing to communicate, then we might as well remain silent and wait until both our

anger had dissipated. | turned around and did not intend to say anything else.

I stared at him and the lunch box in his hand.
