The wooden puppets panicked upon seeing Austin and the gnhead toward the maternal tree.

In an instant, many heavy weapons flew across the sky and rained down on Austin and the gnome.

However, they all bounced off before they could even hit the pair.

Tremendous mind power kept appearing inside Austin and the gnome, threatening to tear their insides apart.

Austin frowned.

He used his mind power to block the attacks, and he moved at the speed of light to dodge his opponents.

Austin also unleashed the law of reincarnation, the law of space, and the law of time. This made it impossible to see what he was

going to do next.

The wood puppets couldn't locate Austin.

They started randomly throwing out attacks.

"Damn it! This human boy is way too powerful for us to handle.

We need to report this to our suprgrandmasters. We should let them deal with him!"

After a while, the gnsuddenly pointed toward a space in front of them.

"It's over there!" he said to Austin.

Numerous green ribbons floated in the space ahead of them. They swirled around in the air, emitting a faint, green glow.

These ribbons were all made out of the law of life.

While the two of them surveyed the area, eight streaks of green energy appeared.

The space shook violently.

Eight figures popped up in front of them.

They were the masters of the wood puppet race. They glared at Austin and the gnwith their piercing eyes.

The members of the wood puppet race were usually short and diminutive in stature.

However, the eight masters before them were as tall as giants. Their eyes were like huge, deep pools. It was a horrifying sight to

behold.

Austin and the gnstudied them and found that they were governing gods.

"Austin, the governing gods have cto us,"

the gnsaid, his face turning pale with fear.

"And there are eight of them. Austin, can you handle it?

Don't push yourself. If you can't hold them off, we need to run away now.

Governing gods are incredibly powerful,"

he said.

When he spoke, his voice was shaking.

It was not surprising to see the gnact like this.

In any world, a governing god was the strongest existence.

No creature could match their strength.

"Don't worry. Everything's going to be fine. I'm here.

Gnome, | thought you would be braver than this,"

Austin said, amused by his response.

He narrowed his eyes at Austin.

The space shook as he spoke.

"That's none of your business.

Austin said, huffing.

"How dare you?! You are not worthy of a visit to our maternal tree! Who do you think you are?

You should just leave!"

"I'm sorry, but it is imperative that | see your maternal tree.

| am not leaving until | set my eyes on it,"

Austin said, shaking his head.

"How dare you?!

Brat, you are courting death!" the third governing god shouted, seething with fury.

His face had turned red with anger.

His anger caused all the laws and energy nearby to stay static.

Without another word,

the governing god released a burst of terrifying green energy

toward Austin.

The pressure from the governing god's attack was terrifying. The void began to disintegrate under its impact.

If a semi-governing god were around, he would be crushed and explode on the spot.

"The governing god is alarmingly powerful. He could defeatwith his mere aura,"

the gnsaid, sighing.

"It's not that powerful at all," Austin commented.

With a wave of his sleeve, he released the great cosmos force and aimed it toward the green energy column.

In an instant,

the immense green energy dissipated like snow thawing in the sun.

The gnimmediately felt relieved.

"How is that possible? !"

The governing god who had just attacked was dumbfounded. He looked at his comrades in disbelief.

"This human boy is really something. No wonder he dares break into our ancestral land."

The other governing gods scrutinized Austin. It seemed that they had underestimated him.
